I watched a game in a carlton supporters house, where Hodge took out a Carlton midfielder with a fair bump in the centre circle. He was wailing like a banshee that Hodge would be gone for 10 weeks. I thought I'll never do this again. (All I had at the time was the scoreboard - but had to be gracious in victory because we were in his house.) I had to go home and watch the game again, when I could enjoy it.

Yeah, nothing worse than watching a game at an opposition supporters place.
You have to really grit your teeth, “yeah that was a great goal by your boys”, when you really want to say, “**** off you cheating campaigners”.
At a real mates place it’s different, you just hang shit off each other all night. Great fun.
