I scored 2146, which I will take. Main concerns are Taranto on field, the availability of Swallow and that I have to field one of Stewart, Otten and Hibberd, but I'll definitely be holding my trades and having another look at the rooks. Premos and mid-pricers look great which is good to see, just need to fix up the rooks

Apart from Otten, onfield rookie output was pretty good/acceptable

unknown_element is 191st with a 2234, he was one of the better performers from a league I'm in that's 9th overall.

I'm 105 points behind him, yet over 2200 spots behind in the rankings

Midfield premiums. Danger, Rocky, Treloar, Titchell, Kennedy, Beams.
Zak Jones and Jack Steele. Exactly what you want from mid-pricers
Nankilands. Value for money in the rucks

The bad:
Rookies: Bowes, Hibberd, Pickett. I'd include Barrett but 56 is acceptable, though not super.
Toby Greene. Not enough, though given how much GWS were outplayed by ... understandable

The annoying:
Picked Shaw over Adams (69 points lost).
Roughy and O'Meara, though given their popularity, not very damaging

The bullet dodged:
Very nearly went Hannebery over Kennedy on Saturday morning.

I too have Toby Greene and am keeping the faith. GWS will win more games than they lose and he will be more involved. When they were up in the first, he'd scored 32. I still reckon he'll be a top six forward by years end.

Oh absolutely - like the rest of the GWS team, he was starved of the ball in the end. Should be back to regular service this week home to Gold Coast.

Still disappointing, but not the end of the world.

Maybe I'm a little more disappointed than usual as I have him in both my draft teams as well (though I won both anyway)

That last sentence is what it's all about. The way he plays usually, especially when they win, he will definitely end up as a top six forward if he can get back to second half of last year's form. Keep the faith, he'll pump out some monsters this year.

Patience my little Unicorn.

Crouch will pig it up more than not and Heppell won't do that every week. All the teams at the top of the rankings went the returning players (Murphy, Beams, Heppell, Sandilands etc). They guy who's ranked 1st with a 2384 has every single returning LTI/suspended player. Whilst under-priced now, none of them will be top 10 in their respective position at seasons end.
