2227 got me 762nd, 199 points off the leader

Zorko and Zerrett my wildcards for next week, no top teams had Zorko and only two in the top 35 had Zerrett, 80 points from the two round 1, could be 250-300 next week

Looked like Maynard was tagging for Melbourne today though, hopefully he doesn't go to Zorko next week.

Ranked 41, lost 7 points after Swans game!! can't believe how little teams have Zerrett. Killer moving forward. 3 concussions in past 8 weeks. He is certain to miss time. Won't be flying to Perth this week you would think. Bring in danger and have no $$ or bring in Cripps or Whitfield. Big decisions to be made this week.

2145 with 5 scores under 60.
Only 12k players in the comp?? Disappointing really, thought there’d be more. How many played last year?

Hey I've got Blake Acres !! :D:D

And how in the hell does Westhoff have mid/fwd dpp ??? :drunk::drunk:

Westhoff should be DEF/MID/FWD/RUCK QPP

Had an absolute mare. McDonald, Naughton, Merrett, Bradshaw, LDU, Dow, Christensen all 60 or under (meanwhile every single player on my bench scored 65 or higher). 2039, ranked 5346th  Would’ve been 2200 if I’d played the right players on the ground.

2099pts (3,675th overall) :(

Merrett , started Davies-Uniacke over Kelly , started Rayner over Garlett/Fritsch
had Holman covering for Dangerfield :thumbsu:
also 192k cash in bank

Exactly the same. It's one of those 'Trust the process' moments. I looked at my bench and thought "well at least I have some cash generation".

Coupled with Zac Merrett and my failed Tom Rockliff Hail Mary, it was a Cluster****.

But I'm more than confident in the structure of the team and the players in it. My forward line was fantastic, if not devoid of a massive score (5 mid to high 90s and a 74 from Fritzl), so there is no need for any tweeking there for weeks. Defense was solid bar Hibberd's potato salad, so again, not much to worry about there.

The mids are where I'm going bold this week. I can't see Merrett playing, so he is gone and I'll turf Rockliff now until I can see where he sits in all of this. After the byes most likely as I should have done from the start. I thought he played well in a low possession game for him, it was just he was playing more the Robbie Gray role.

Some juicy Uber Premos with seriously low ownership rates are where I'm going.

There was only 15k teams come round 23 last year, so not many more.
RDT never really survived the split from AFL Fantasy, as poor as that version of the game is.

This!! Murphy, Naughton, Zerrett, Brayshaw, Rayner and my spud POD Neale Bullen!

Haha, That was kind of my point. Def/Fwd, sure. Ruc/Fwd, yep that works as well. But Fwd/Mid, Champion data are miles off.

Nah, he spends plenty of time on the wing. Honestly he probably spends less time forward these days than he does any of the other three positions.

I'm 99th overall with 2320.

Had greene in my side but changed him last minute to Menegola because I had the cash.

Also played Murphy instead of Doedee.

If I get those 2 calls right, I probably win the weekly.
Yeah would've got you to 2415 just 11pts shy of 1st place! If I hadn't bungled the VC loophole would've had 2326 so plenty of wouldacouldashouldas going around on a Monday morning. :)

He has only had one concussion man... JLT was a poke in the eye

Buddy and Parker got nerfed a tackle and kick

14th and 34th also have Zerrett, you have an advantage over many imo if he comes good this week

I think I might have been the only person on this forum who scored under 2000.

Post-mortem:
  1. Last-second decision to put the C on Zerret instead of Titch as a POD (after not taking Dusty's loophole 110) = fail
  2. Zorko = fail
  3. Hibberd = fail
  4. Lycett as R2 = fail
  5. Not having access to internet for most of rolling lockout to adjust things = fail
  6. lost the rookie 'who to put onfield' lotto (refer point 5)

In brighter news:
  1. Forward line premos Buddy, Toby G, Heeney and Devon Smith
  2. Rookies I chose all looked ok as AFL footballers (handy)
  3. Corfield surely must play this week?

2,117

I am concerned about Hibberd's and Adams' roles but as it looks like I have gotten my rookies right I should be able to give them another week and make the call after round 2.
I'm jumping the gun and doing Hibbo -> Simmo this week. May have to get Bonner (for Bundy) and potentially make a rookie swap next week so want to fix Hibbo while I can. Yes the smart thing is to wait if possible and assess another round of data but I'm making the switch now.
