1932 for me which ranks me around 3,400 but like many others here could have been in the top few hundred if I’d made better bench/field decisions.

Still happy enough with my team though. Avoided the DeGoey DeBacle, dodged the Rowell bullet and missed a few of the other under performers (many of which spent A LOT of time in my side during the pre season).

Only forced trade at this stage is Danger

Two points worth a couple of hundred where we are then, 1930 and ranked 3568 here. Finished better than I thought I would and best opening round in a couple of years. Bit worried about Wines though he can't be a priority and I'll possibly hold Danger if it's one or two weeks. W.Powell and Duggan also have to wait its Clark and Atkins I'm most worried about.

After a fair few mistakes, cannot believe this is where I finished -

Very happy that I got a lot right, and would have been even higher had I got my rooks right/not changed up a few things from my original team - but dodged a lot of bullets too and think I can get my desired team within the next 3 weeks

As stated

Danger > Gulden
Idun > Zilliams

250K remaining

:)

What are people going to do with Jordan Clark? Hold or trade?

The AFL re discussing if we need an additional injury sub after Rowell.

Lockout to be lifted Thursday lunchtime.
Doubt it'll happen .....concerns over a blowout of Club TPP

Let's temper this a bit, he was playing against arguably the easiest opponent he'll encounter.
Tis fair, but the price difference is the main thing to take into account. Gawn was up against one of the easiest opponents he'll ever encounter, and he ended up on 73...but cost a whopping 774K more. To put that into perspective, that's basically Hind and Markov combined, Dusty, Mills, Laird etc.

I full well expected a 60 and would have been happy with anything over that, but a 99 against anyone, is friggin' ridiculous when the 'best ruck' in the game scores sweet f a against another novice, and costs you nearly 800K more

:D That's what Gawn thought too playing Freo

But with Flynn, we'll have a better idea this week, to see if he can backup with another strong performance

Yeah I more mean in terms of having him as a starting ruck. I fully accept the argument to downgrade Gawn to a Witts or ROB if those guys end up averaging the same, but I'd be cautious going with Flynn. The scare in the third with his ankle reminds us that there's a reason this bloke has taken so long to debut.

100%, which is why I'm copping cash gen loss from a non playing rook down back, as a cover/perma vc loop for Flynn whenever I need it in Briggs. Gives me a lot more security if they change week to week/Flynn needs a rest, gets injured etc.

When we do know what's happening with Danger?

I think Tribunal is still Tuesdays, so he's been sent directly there and we'll know something tomorrow night (I guess).

I'm pretty sure they'll give him another AA and possibly another Brownlow....

Anyone find the afl fantasy user interface to be a giant pile of crap ? I remember it back in its dream team days of the early 2010s and it was way easier to use. You can't even see the clubs of the bloody players when you look to trade them in. You need to click different filters instead of having average and price in the same row. And thus is meant to be the official afl fantasy game too LOL . Supercoach is and always will be way better

Anything that involves the AFL and the internet is crap, period.

Having said that though....I think Supercoach is even worse.

How is it worse though , at least I can see what my player scored that round on average without having to flip some stupid player card. And can they make looking at your leagues and rank any harder lolol. This shit is simple . Afl are clueless and out of touch when it comes to games

Just have to look at how the EPL runs their fantasy to see that simpler is better.

Although I do like that AFL gives you live updates on your overall rank.
