you are property of the vatican and the name your parents registered you under when u were born belongs to the vatican, and theyve duped you
into claiming that capitalized name(dog latin) and its traded on the NYSE(the name), so everytime you pay car rego,a fine, private health insurance, get a fake corona test etc the shareholders who own that name get a dividend...when someone scans that QR code the owners of that product recieve $$$$....its also been introduced to keep an eye on you and me as well as we're collateral,we're lost at sea as far as theyre concerned and in theyre mind you need saving & getting saved costs you money & freedoms...its all about $$$$,nothing to do with safety, its all contrived ;)

Beating the Blues whilst being rusty as all heck.
Rusty as all heck!
Blues last game of 2020 was Sept 19th. Tigers was Oct 24th. They may have come back to preseason a little later (not sure of actual dates for either team, but it really doesn't matter), but they had an extra month of actual footy.
Both teams played the same amount of preseason/practice games.
They had 20 players on the field from the grand final team and 12 triple premiership players. They should be able to run on auto pilot anyway.
There was nothing rusty about Richmond in round one that 17 other teams wouldn't be able to claim.

Quite possibly true that all teams are a bit rusty.

What I saw of the Tigers was a team that wasn't anywhere near as slick as they should be come finals, and one that applied a lot less pressure than normal. That's what I meant by rusty.

Carlton was pretty slick mostly, but with some really poor goal kicking at times (same as tigers - lots of easy misses for both teams).

Since 2018 the Tigers try to build into the season. Don't start fast and hard, just win enough games that you are confident of being there when the whips start cracking. That is exactly what I saw in round 1. Good enough to win, but a very long way from finals form.

Nothing against the Blues. The Blues have added a lot of class in the midfield, have a great spine and are playing to win with a sustainable game plan (all that from watching one game). But they still lack a bit of polish and quality across the team. Get used to the game plan and a few youngsters grow into the AFL more and finals beckons. If the team stagnates, or can't keep up the slick game plan then trouble. Same as all teams on the rise. Actually, to me, very similar to where Port was couple of years back - lots of talent and a tweaked game plan. they took a year to get going then exploded in 2020.

Liked the fact that I was eating humble pie over the statue on the mark rule, it didn't destroy the game at all, freed it up a bit, although a few more uncontested possesions?
Learned that the AFL will leave a legacy to out game of changing it to a contact free sport, after Dangerfields absolute nonsensical rub out for a fair bump totally legal , I just think on the 1989 GF if that was played last weekend , there'd only be umpires on the ground not reported!
Really this is a contact sport, most of us here on BF have played footy at some level , everyone gets hurt sometime, or hurts someone, through contact, I can't see why the players can't sign a waver, or play something else.
I understand the concussion thing, but ho many hundred s of thousands of people played this game at any level and come out wrecked 20 years later, not many , the waver should include a guarantee from every club that the lifetime protection and costs for anything medical in the brain that was caused by football. Because all the AFL do is make a basketball typed game come closer every week and every year!
Hated Hawthorn's 2nd quarter!
