Essendon vs. Melbourne by 22 points (49,361)
essendon a few decent names out but too good for melbourne atm

Geelong vs. Western Bulldogs by 59 points (26,941)
geelong superior in every way, semi rested last week will come out firing

West Coast vs. Gold Coast by 74 points (38,148)
should bounce back strongly, geelong game and travel will take a lot out of the young suns

Brisbane vs. Sydney by 19 points (24,874)
brissy could upset but i think the swans, although inconsistent, are overall a quality team and should be too strong

Collingwood vs. St Kilda by 29 points (74,578)
still think saints will finish the season stronger then they've started, but without goddard (and hayes) pies too sstrong

Hawthorn vs. Fremantle by 32 points (28,645)
freo have too many injuries, hawthorn on a bit of a roll atm, their only real stuff up in round 1

North Melbourne vs. Adelaide by 5 points (16,879)
50-50 game, i dunno why but i just keep tipping the crows and being let down, thought they were top 8 for sure this year, anyways should be an ugly game but close and entertaining

Port Adelaide vs. Carlton by 43 points (19,369)
good win for port's confidence last week but carlton should beat them comfortably, although it could be closer because of carlton's inaccurate kicking in front of goal

sorry for speaking on behalf of another (i dunno what he's thinking) but if you're referring to him calling crows and north pathetic then yeah fair call, but we've copped it for a few years now, but seem to have finally come back from that. whoever's team is not travelling well just has to cop it as a supporter, it's just the way it goes (dockers fans were saying all sorts of stuff about the eagles last year, forgetting that their first 16 years haven't exactly been bragging material)

i apologise if you were referring to something else haha

p.s. 3 flags :D

Adelaide were up in the last quarter vs Collingwood by 22 points
The largest margin you had over Collingwood for the whole day was 6 points, and that was only because you scored first.

So if we're "pathetic" I'd hate to know how you view your own club, because that's embarrassing. Putting a worse performance together than what we did against Collingwood

Dirty Bird - We were playing the best team in the comp, our kids are young and they would learn from that... You were nearly 6 GOALS UP and lost! Whats your excuse for yesterday against the cellars dwellers where you lost by 40 yes 40pts at home!??!?!?!

The Roos game is not 50/50. If you think it is then you should take the $2.50 on offer for the Crows.

i am genuinely thinking about it. tbh i probably haven't seen enough of the roos this year to judge, but what i have seen hasn't been great. in saying that, adelaide continue to disappoint week after week, apart from the first three quarters against the pies, still i think the game against the lions will be a massive wake up call for them.

I'm sure there will end up being some decent games to watch this weekend, but it's tough to figure out what they'll be. Hopefully we can get a decent Friday night game at least, but it isn't looking good.

bo waters for PM - question - You do know that Adelaide's team is younger than West Coasts (by about 200 days) and have about 440 games less experience than yours (20 per player)?

So don't use youth as an excuse
You do know that North Melbourne, Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Adelaide, Richmond, Melbourne and Gold Coast all fielded younger teams than you on the weekend?
Those teams have more right to use the youth excuse than West Coast, heck, even Fremantle could use that excuse too, but under the experience banner (they might on average be 45 days older than you, but you have over 400 games more experience)

Never said they were the youngest team, we all know that the Suns list is the youngest... Whats your excuse for losing by 4Opts against Brisbane at HOME??? The Eagles lost to the best team and are far more unexperienced and also younger then the Pies...

Essendon Vs Melbourne 45pts

Geelong Vs Western Bulldogs 51pts

West Coast Vs Gold Coast 80pts

Brisbane Vs Sydney 26pts

Collingwood Vs St Kilda 58pts

Hawthorn Vs Fremantle 37pts

North Melbourne
Vs Adelaide 20pts

Port Adelaide Vs Carlton 73pts

Seems like an easy straight forward round.

Not far more experienced and certainly not much younger either. Collingwood's average games played yesterday was 95.9. West Coast's average games played was 83.1. Collingwood's average age yesterday was only 24 years and 9 months. West Coast's average age was 24 years and 6 months, which is insignificant and doesn't explain the final margin and current ladder positions.
Collingwood Vs St Kilda 58pts.
Two points more than the last time the two teams played each other.

Our form is not as bad as our current spot on the ladder. 4 point loss to your team, in WA, is now very respectable, came back and was flogged by the Pies after a 6 day break, lost to Freo in WA before their injuires hit, came back and lost by 9 points to Rich (tough coming back from WA), beat Port, thumped by the Cats, beat Melb, lost to the Lions with Brown returning and very stiff losing by a point to the Swans.

We are terrible but what the Crows dished up against Bris and Melbourne is far worse than anything we have done this year. I would not back the Crows with Mumbles money.

Essendon Vs Melbourne 4pts

West Coast Vs Gold Coast 90pts

Brisbane Vs Sydney 11pts

Collingwood Vs St Kilda 21pts

LOL.. carlton simply are not that good. If you win it will be by 4 or 5 goals at the most in adelaide. Im loving this cockiness.. similar to the richmond idiots last week.
