Some Brisbane players ruled themselves out of selection because they knew they were cooked and wanted to do what was best for the team.

Surely you agree this game plan is horrid and isn’t taking us to the promised land and in that case this coach needs to be pissed off quick smart.

Honestly I'm not sold either way yet. Tonight is definitely a firm indicator that the best pressure sides in pressure games will chop it up unless it's executed flawlessly in which we have also seen it chop Collingwood up the other way.

The closest I'll conceed at the moment is that we probably don't have the talent to make it work to a premiership standard at the moment. Whether that's a coach not coaching to a lists strengths or we're just still filling in the gaps and developing into it is where I'm not sold. What I do know is that it's a slow burn with our list profile regardless of who is in the coaches box due to how badly we fumbled the "restump" from 2017-2019
