Reckon there's some outstanding matches this week. Genuinely think Sydney can get up against the Blues if they can kick straight, and they generally play the Blues well at Etihad apart from once two years ago.

Saints-Cats... could be a cracker or a really one-sided outcome.

Roos-Bombers could be vital in deciding the Final 8, suspect Bombers will just get up.

Dogs-Crows is season over for the loser full stop, Crows to make a real show of it but Dogs to run it out.

Dees-Freo would go a way to deciding the Final 8 as well suspect Dees will come to play to follow their roller-coaster year.

Lions-Tigers should result in a Tigers victory and keep pressure on the 8, but who knows.

Eagles and Hawks far too strong for Port and GC.

You think the Suns will get up? What year is this? :D

I know Hawks are having injury woes, and we are coming off a tough game... but can't see it. Hopefully at least remain competitive this time.

No Merrett or Adcock are blows to Brisbane, which is why I tipped the Tiges. No bias involved, as without Sauce, Riewoldt should hopefully kick a nice bag.

West Bulldogs vs Adelaide - Consequences will be dire for loser, especially for the Dogs considering this is there home game. Think they will win but tipping with no confidence - Dogs by 8pts

Essendon vs Nth Melb - Bombers have hit a brick wall while the Roos have found some form. Will go down to the wire but think the Roos in an upset - Roos by 6pts

Hawthorn vs Gold Coast - Even with a few Hawk injuries, this could be quite ugly for the Suns as Buddy alone may tear them apart - Hawks by 55pts

St Kilda vs Geelong - Don't think it will be as low scoring as the last clash, but the end result on current form should be a same, Cats to win - Cats by 14pts

Brisbane vs Richmond - Fact that this game is in Brisbane give the Lions are huge chance while the Tigers are on the road for the third game in a row - Lions by 3pts

Melbourne vs Fremantle - If the trend is to continue, the Demons will probably come out and thrash the Dockers but will play it safe and tip the higher team on the ladder - Dockers by 12pts

Carlton vs Sydney - Match of the round, Blues are a seriously challanger and so will the Swans if that cause an upset. Will tip Blues at the moment but Swans are a good chance too - Blues by 9pts

West Coast vs Port Adel - If Eagles really turn up to play this could be a similar result to the Dogs game a few weeks back but at the same time could also be a similar result to the Suns clash, Eagles to win either way - Eagles by 33pts

Because thats your opinion, if Adelaide or Sydney won this week it would be an upset but it wouldn't surprise me

Ok maybe i phrased that wrong. Why would it be an upset if North bet Essendon? Especially with one team coming off two pretty decent wins and the other coming off 3 pretty ordinary losses.

Western Bulldogs v Adelaide 14pts

Essendon v North Melbourne - 9pts

Hawthorn v Gold Coast - 66pts

St Kilda v Geelong 28pts

Well, their losses were to Richmond, Melbourne and Fremantle in Perth. Pretty shocking but North only beat Adelaide in Melbourne and the Gold Coast. North lost to both Freo and Richmond, though they did account for Melbourne (and in saying that, Melbourne's game vs Essendon was their best all year). The results aren't that lopsided.

Also given Essendon's previous form and the inclusions of key players (not to mention the general state of the list) it does not equate to North going in as favourites. I do see your point but North will still go in underdogs.

Adelaide by 35 points (9,345) - Dogs will not win another game.

Hawthorn by 47 points (16,788) - Suns better but Hawks too good.

North Melbourne by 9 points (36,555) - 2 teams headed in opposite directions.

Brisbane Lions by 11 points (28,111) - 3 straight interstate games will catch up with the young Tigers

Geelong by 1 point (52,991) - Another MCG heartbreaker for the Saints.

Fremantle by 5 points (37,345) - Welcome back Michael Barlow.

Carlton by 46 points (45,789) - Another Carlton v Collingwood GF this year?

West Coast by 95 points (38,510) - Eagles looking forward to a huge game against the Blues in round 14.

Western Bulldogs vs Adelaide - 9 - Should win at home.
Hawthorn vs Gold Coast - 55 - self explanatory
Essendon vs North Melbourne - 19 - Bombers because of some big ins but they really are in a troff atm.
Brisbane vs Richmond - 21 - Should get the choccies with big sauce Merret being out, and because they're a better team.
St. Kilda vs Geelong - 36 - Cats because nothing will stop them.
Melbourne vs Fremantle - 34 - We usaully beat interstate teams at the 'G no matter how badly we're playing. 10/12 since Bailey took over is a pretty decent track record considering one of the two games we didn't win was a draw. On top of that no Sandilands and Mundy will hurt their chances and don't excpect Barlow to have a blinder in his first game back, esspecially if he's the sub. And also Freo haven't won at the 'G for 4 years (probably make that 3 cause to be fair to them they only played there once last year). I could go on.

Carlton vs Sydney - 22 - Should be a good game but the Blues at home should win, and reasonably comfortably i would think.
West Coast vs Port Adelaide - 58 - If both teams play true to their form of this year it could get extremely ugly for the Power.

Dirty Bird, your score predictions get more ridiculous with each passing week...
So wait
I have Adelaide starting well, have a lead at half time, and the Bulldogs come back - I was right

I had Essendon failing to win - I was right

I had Hawthorn killing Gold Coast - I was right

I had Geeling beating St Kilda - I was right

I had Richmond scoring 125 in a high scoring affair - I was right

I had Melbourne dismantling Fremantle - I was right

I had Carlton beating Sydney - I am right

So - What's so ridiculous about my predictions?
