Probably the biggest H&A game we’ve played in recent years.
No shame if we lose narrowly to a very good team.
Fearing a capitulation with a lot on the line under the spotlight.

The good news is we’ve never had a humiliating choke with Florent, Hayward, Ronke, McCartin, Aliir etc in the side. Hopefully their presence will inspire the senior guys to really grab this one by the horns.

I’m going with the Swans by 12.

We have to take the points here for two reasons:

1. If we dont knock the Tigers off at docklands then i cant see how we do it at the G.

2. We have a very tough run home so we have to get some big scalps to book a top 4 spot. No better time to start than tonight.

I will back us to win on the proviso that we keep it tight at qtr time.

It's mainly that I can't watch live...therefore I have to stay off the internet so I don't spoil it for myself (until I watch). So I have to get through all of work Thursday and Friday (since it's played at 2:20 am my time Thursday morning). But at least if we win I will have something to watch both Saturday and Sunday night like you were saying!

It's tough, but usually I watch it that night so when it's a Saturday night game...I watch it Saturday night my time. I'm used to doing it with basketball and the NFL anyway because the wife won't let me watch live, so I have to watch those at night anyway even if the Chiefs play at noon, I have to wait until the family is in bed to watch. (never get married =D)

I hate Thursday night games! Impossible to get to and home from if you're coming from the outer burbs, always on much too late, and then a really long wait for the next round! They suck!

On to the game, should be a cracker! Hope Sinkers runs riot, Rose has the game of his life and Hewett locks down Cotchin so tight he can't breathe! I'm looking for a four goal win, but will be thrilled with any win at all!

In the The Age it has photo of Lance taking a mark, without mouth guard !, Rance hitting arms. Leigh Matthew's saying if had 1st pick he would take Rance! Dunstall praises Grundy Richard's era. Other article talks of Lance being rock star Beiber when visits schools.
