Is this the first time Fremantle will wear full home (full purple) at the MCG?

I’m guessing they will as the ‘home‘ team.

Yes. Carlton have confirmed they will be in white.

Edit: Actually they wore all purple in the 2012 Elimination Final v Geelong at the MCG.

Yeah they wore full purple in MCG finals against Geelong in 2010 (anchor) and 2012 (chevrons).

Gold Coast must feel pretty unlucky. Both occasions they've worn their Indigenous jumper have been home games shifted to other venues. Think we might see them pull it out one more time this year for a game at Metricon.

Two of the Demons players are wearing a long sleeved version of the indigenous jumper. No patterns on the arms though.

Its quite intersting, this. This is the first time the Lions have worn their red jumper against Adelaide, which I assume has been allowed due to the Crows wearing their Indigenous which has almost no red.

I still expected Brisbane to be in white even with us wearing the Indigenous jumper, because quite often when a home team is wearing a special jumper, we still see the away team wearing whatever they would usually wear, even if their home (or away) jumper no longer clashes.

For this to occur, either the AFL have just decided the red jumper is fine to wear against the Crows going forward, or they actually had the foresight to see the Crows would have a different jumper to normal which would allow the Lions to wear their preferred away jumper.

This also means the Lions have a 100% win rate vs the Crows in the red kit :D
