Think you'll need Gray this week with Heeney out4 trades left
Savage to Lloyd (Laird, Yeo, Simpson, Hurley, Sic, Seed/Savage)
or
Gray to Premo (Heeney, Smith, McClean, Walters, Gray, Fritsch)
?

Hard to sayI'm gonna play Ahern in Heeney's place, but looking long term
Not Dawson.Which rookie has the best job security:
Brad Lynch- with Bailey Williams out for 4-6 weeks will he keep his spot?
Sier- Played well last week, but even will Langford and tim O'Brien can play well against the suns. Pies have a lot of players to come back in over the next 2-3 weeks.
Jacob Dawson- Suns have a lot of injuries. Haven't seen him play yet.
Yep, Grundy just one ups Stef every week regardless what he gets. Are Stef owners going to try go up to Grundy at some point or just accept the fact you’re not getting Grundy? Absolutely hate not owning Grundy. Even when Stef gets a 110, Grundy seems to pump out a 140. Then there’s the weeks that Stef goes under a 100 and Grundy never does that. It feels like a very luxury trade but based on Grundy’s form it could be a decent 15 point/week upgrade. If I had anyone else but Stef as R2 then I would not hesitate in getting Grundy
How many trades left?Need to sort out my Fyfe target tonight. The logical move is to sideways to Gaff or Neale and use the leftover funds to upgrade Savage to Brayshaw.
I could opt to Hold Fyfe and upgrade Holman to Heppell giving me a 9th midfield premium and Gray as forward bench cover but would be left with Savage at D6 but his 83 average is not cutting it.
4 left before this week, Gray is already my F7. Hindsight says I probably should have held Macrae and moved Holman onto Rocky or someone weeks ago, but it is what it is.How many trades left?
I held Macrae instead of turfing him as I felt my team for the long haul wasn't going to be improved by trading him so I cut rookies and brought in a couple of bargain types like Heppell and a bottomed out Simpson to complete my side, but if he doesn't come back next week it's a bad hold from me having all them points and cash not utilised on the pine for at least a month while I have to field the likes of Gray stinking it up in his absence.
Hard call
Looking at Savage, 5 of his last 6 have been in the 80-98 range, that's ok for a D6 and much better consistency than Gray who has scored 5 60s and only one ton in that same period.
So I'm guessing here
Trade Fyfe and Savage, keep Holman at M9 and Gray at F6?
Hold Fyfe, Heppell becomes M8-9 from trading Holman and someone else pushes Gray to the bench while Savage stays at D6?
Imo the Heppell option is better providing you get no more injuries as Gray gets off the field I'm assuming?
What's the rest of your defence plus coverage there?4 left before this week, Gray is already my F7. Hindsight says I probably should have held Macrae and moved Holman onto Rocky or someone weeks ago, but it is what it is.
Heppell gives me a nice M9 but then will have Savage at D6 and 3 trades (no cash), all of which will be held onto for LTIs so I'll be stuck with him as I won't use two just to upgrade him.

Rice/Ridley - so nonexistent. Original plan was to upgrade Rice to Lloyd (Savage to D7) post bye but Macrae/Treloar/Fyfe has forced my trades. What's the rest of your defence plus coverage there?
If I go Holman -> Heppell I can move Savage onto either one ($560,400 to spend). Is an option, but think Ideally you want Lloyd/Brayshaw - missing both is a fair few points.Could you go Hurley or Hurn instead?
It's crazy that we kept saying last year that Cox would kill Grundy as being DT relevant. That's certainly changed this year. Are Stef owners going to try go up to Grundy at some point or just accept the fact you’re not getting Grundy? Absolutely hate not owning Grundy. Cox definitely played more ruck last year than key forwardIt's crazy that we kept saying last year that Cox would kill Grundy as being DT relevant. That's certainly changed this year.
You grab McCluggage?I am actually considering Ryan ---> McCluggage this week. Will leave me with only 4 trades and 50k but will also allow me to not field a rookie this week and some better coverage in the future. It is very speculative but after watching him this year I feel like he has been building very well and I wouldn't be too surprised if he averages 90 from here on out.
Also very slightly considering doing Holman to Shuey, although this would leave me with 3 trades and no money, and I am not sure this really does that much except give me a bit better mid coverage. Even before he got injured Shuey wasn't exactly setting the world alight.
I didn't in the end because I thought Ahern might score well this week against GC. I just didn't see enough upside in the trade at the time to justify. I will wait and see how Ahern goes before I decide if it was a good optionYou grab McCluggage?
Could be a breakout option next year if he gets DPP or something
