Season going south quickly after being so promising with a "final team" 2 weeks ago.

With 130k in the bank and 5 trades left, thinking of rolling the final dice of Tuohy and Wallis to either
A) Hurley and Wingard (the POD option)
B) Laird and Macrae (the popular option)

Going A) would leave me with

Docherty Adams Hurley Roberton Lloyd Hibberd (Witherden Scharenberg)

Dangerfield Martin Merrett Neale Kennedy J Selwood Murphy Treloar (Greenwood SSelwood Cousins)

Witts Ryder (Darcy)

Dahlhaus Franklin Steele Wingard Heeney Greene (Parsons Strandica)

Is it just panic and is there something else I should target?

Cripps to Selwood is the obvious one for me, which presuming Greene and Kennedy play will leave me at full 'premo'

Not sure if i'll do a second trade, but would love any advice...

R19: Perryman > M/D donut, Greenwood > Greene.

Leaving me with this team for finals. Happy with the below. Only downside is having Witherden as defence cover, which sucks given I had Shaw here last week.

Final trade will be Greenwood -> Greene, when I can afford.

This will leave my team with only 5 Premos in defense. because there is no way I'm going to be able to afford Docherty. And all the other defenders are inconsistent turds.
But because i have decent scoring rookies (Ryan, Witherden). I will loophole these campaigners most rounds.

i just looked and he averages decent against suns and i dont think he is injured unless someone else knows different?

As a Francis Watson owner, I can safely say he is not the one you are looking for.

I went into rush mode and rememebr eagle basement price rookie and grabbed him, completely forgetting I was thinking of Boyuk who was FWD/MID.

O.Junker (NM) is better, especially as it will open the DPP with you DEF bench if you ever part with Berry.

Thanks for the feedback. I looked at Junker too, but looked at the draw and saw how many Sunday games WCE had, so thought it could be good for loopholing having Watson...

I've decided to hold gaz, nank and treloar again this week- no trades unless forced to. (Got 6 left)

Hopefully gaz plays which makes treloar m9.
If gaz misses I'll still hold him for 1 more week so i can get another look at gawn/beames/dswallow and maybe priddis this week.

I want to upgrade nank in the ruck, but dont want to 'waste' a trade downgrading ainsworth or greenwood to do it.
(Other ruck is witts, ryder is fwd)

So next week I'm going to attempt to downgrade gaz to a decent m8 priced around 440k (beames/swallow?) and then upgrade nank to krooz.

Or if gawn shows plenty this week ill go nank to gawn and gaz to decent m8 priced around 520k (bont/rory?)

Not considering goldy because i reckon with their season in the toilet, north will experiment with the team and play pruess with him at some stage.

Nank is outscoring maxx at the moment.
You wouldn't want to spend 100k and a trade unless you're very confident maxx will start pumping out regular 110+
