No player gets eased in playing AFL. You either play or you don't. Subbed players are mostly youth and when they are not it's a telling sign of a player is on thin ice especially experienced players. Tell me has Shuey ever been subbed. Comes straight in every week because it's Shuey and the club's knows what he can bring. Nothing to do with injury him being sub. It's to do with a player at the cross roads.
