Great return from Matho! Matho in over Lyons now in my opinion. Good to see McCluggage and Rayner return after poor showings last week with 7 goals between them and they set up multiple others.

How good is Kiddy? Absolute star! Much needed win and we got the job done.

Good on Beast for sticking fat, earning another chance and making the most of it.

Hopefully just a precautionary icepack on Kiddy at the end there.

Good to see Andrews out there just punching everything.

We worked more for each other than many other weeks which was refreshing.

If I hear one more comment about how good Taylor was I might puke. Mainly because it reminds me of how many times we floated a ball into our 50 and allowed him to mark it. Hardly counts as an intercept as they were basically kicking it to him.

Anyway pettiness aside, pretty good win. I liked Hugh and his i50 work rate.

Two weeks ago Danny Dailey was interviewed and asked about matho.

He quoted the coaching mantra - too many deficits in his game, not a two way runner blah blah blah

Not only was matho easily in the top third of players today, he makes other players stand tall.

The fact that our coaches can't understand how he contributes to our top team is worrying.

They are allowing bias to influence their team selection, and it stinks, and borders on incompetence.

We smashed contested possessions. Yes, GSW are a poor team, but we lost last week, at home against a team equal to GWS.

Can't wait to see what Fagan has to say. My money is he was say he has a cracker of a game, great depth player.

Then I will lose my shit.

Team defence was great in the first quarter and really set the tone for the rest of the game.

Bailey's had a real Jekyl and Hyde season. Would've been in AA contention first half of the year. Second half has just been woeful unfortunately. Hoping he starts hitting some form soon.

Best part of Matho's game was that he looked to give hands rather than bomb it long and aimlessly. Should be given a few weeks to see if he can stick to that.

fort isnt the best tap ruckman but his second efforts are superb, really good below his knees and strong in the tackle too, hes earned a vote for mine

Shits me when we give up the last few goals. Happens all the time. Coleman has the potential to be a million dollar man, he’s the Rich replacement but there’s something extra with Coleman which is the exciting part, we still don’t know how good he can be.

Real impressive performance with still multiple best 22 players out, it was the attitude that the majority of players went about it for the entirety of the game that was really pleasing to see.

We just need GC to bring Bailey back to life next week with another 6 goal performance. Not sure he has been quite the same since that game.
