Kelly's last quarter was really good but if you watch it back take note of the handballs he gets to get out into space.

He got on the end of some very well executed attacking handballs which set him off into space. We need more of that clean disposal to reward players on the outside trying to attack.

Kelly has always been more of a outside player than inside.
We've out of necessity shoehorned him inside the contest.
He'll look much much better once we get another inside mid to replace him at the CBD / Contest

I was happy with Trew today

It's like a sad happy , we played a direct style out of no where and could have pinched it against a great side.. the early wet helped us play that way but was pleasantly suprised we had the guts to stick with them that long..

The analysis of those positive things is something to be happy about later in the week, but for now its just frustration at losing.

WAFL trier by the look of it. Not a criticism, he worked hard but is not a mid that would help lift us into contention. We have a few in that class unfortunately.

Yeah but to be fair he has been having a crack in the WAFl...I thought he improved us today ..and he needs a run of games to the end of the year

Kelly, in his natural role, is what the club is short of. He has been filling a role, because he was still better at that role than most of the alternatives we had. Yeo is a true inside/outside mid, Kelly should be a more pure outside mid.

Todays game pisses me off because it took the coach getting sacked to play like this when we literally played like this in the first quarter of the year and especially the Swans game. Means sweet balls if they come out next week against the Saints and lay an egg.
