ESSENDON BOMBERS

YYYYYYEEEEEEEEWWWWWW.
Sure, the Lions were decimated with COVID and injury, but a win for this young group, in Brisbane, is HUGE.
Jake Kelly monstered the best small forward in the league.
2MP booted 5 goals and we all thank the Gold Coast for basically giving him to us.
Jye Caldwell's best game for the club.
Kyle Langford is back in top form.
Even effort through the midfield.
Of course it's too little, too late, but it's nice to see some wins on the board.
A bad corkie to Mass D'Ambrosio was enough to see him subbed out and missing this week.

The jet rookie in Mass D'Ambrosio is out injured, the potential Crichton Medalist Mason Redman straight back in. You'll take that.

Some serious quality returning to the Gold Coast forward line with electric Izak Rankine returning, alongside former Tiger Oleg Markov.

The Suns are in a genuine fight for finals, and I'd love to see them there, but they traditionally don't play Marvel well. We're in the Dud timeslot of the round, but this could end up being a serious contest. It'll be close all day, and I think the fact it's in Melbourne will swing things in our favor. Slightly.

Essendon by 4.

Sunday arvo is an alright slot if you want to go to the actual game… would make more sense earlier/later in the season when it’s not bucketing rain and freezing 🤪 Friday nights are mid-winter watch on TV time slots…

Settled into couch, dogs head in my lap keeping me toasty.
Been a while since there's been a game where i won't be bothered by the result either way. Damn suns and their maiden finals berth.

No injuries today please
