Always better to be 2 goals up at 1/4 time than chasing tail but **** me we blew a chance to almost close this game early.

Looked really sharp through the middle and had great forward pressure early but the backline is just looking like conceding a goal every time Freo go forward and then the forwards started looking comical grassing easy marks and chances for straight forward set shots.

Pros: Leading at 1/4 time and look to have them covered if we keep doing well what we have been doing well.

Cons: should be a mile further up and backline wobbly.

On a positive, Worpel is moving very well and has shown more speed then I thought he had. He is looking very confident.

I didn't get to see last week's game due to being off my face at a music festival so I missed Worp's breakout game. Gee he looks nice. Knows where to position himself in a contest. Hits them at pace and has some strong acceleration. Loved the spot up of Schoey too because that was one of his biggest criticisms coming out of the draft. That he just banged them forward without thinking much. Great signs.
