Had literally no idea what to do and I wanted to wait at least one more week before I trade out either Tom Mitchell or Brad Crouch so I just went with Terlich > Hanley and Malceski > Enright with $199,000 in the cap, Malceski has been nothing but a disappointment since I got him in a couple weeks ago and had a trade to burn so I said stuff it

Final midfeild spot dilemmas.

Someone pick me one out of the following:

Jelwood, Scooter, Kieran Jack

Leaning towards scooter for differentiation but jack is so consistent and jelwood has a good run of games coming up at skilled and is the inform midfielder in the comp atm.

My only worry about Beams is the Pies have some tough games to come and could get tagged.
Barlow has some good games against lower teams to come which I like.
I like Scooter as a POD too and like his tackling points.
Mmmmm tough choices. Lids will probably have a good game if I trade him out too, lol

Nah, Beams won't get tagged. He's below Pendlebury, Swan, and possibly Sidebottom in the tagging department. Plus even if he does get tagged, I'd back Beams to break it cos it's all about getting contested footy.

Beams was tagged on multiple occasions last year. He usually broke through it though.

Having unlimited trades sucks.
Can't bring myself to ditch my last upgrade TMitch this week, so have upgraded Neade to Cloke as my F7.
I might even give him a game next week.

Also gave Ibbo the sack after a few weeks of crap scores, welcome Pearce Hanley. Hope you have recovered ok.

difficult trade week this week.

trying to decide whether to bring beams into my midfield. my current midfield is mundy, swan, ablett, barlow, pendles, t.michell, jack, cotchin (hartlett, hunter) i would be trading staker>beams (via dpp) so would have to play 1 of tichell or cotch as my m9

or make an upgrade to my forwards i currently have bartel, sj, henderson, stokes, martin, rockliff (mayes, kennedy) amd am debating whether to trade one of stokes/mayes to either lachie hansen as POD or take the less risky strategy of upgrading to riewoldt or cloke

any suggestions/thoughts?

i would go kennedy-> cheap forward and mayes up to riewoldt. sure he's 'injured' but he's remarkably consistent. would play him before stokes. if you were trading in a F7, then it should be hansen but in your case n riewoldt is your man

Would anybody back Staker to go well against St Kilda this week?

1. Nicholls > Dusty, B.Goodes > downgrade

OR if I start Staker (Nicholls goes to bench),
2. B. Goodes > downgrade, JOM or Hannebery > Beams!

so dusty (100) and JOM/Hanneberry (95) vs staker (70ish) +beams (115). would back the first option as staker is a bit inconsistent and can score you a 60odd

yes it is a knee jerk reaction but if i had him i would keep him for this week having said that tagging+melb not a DT friendly team means that he would either be D7 or traded in the near future

Anybody jumping on board? Risky but he does play well in the face of adversity, and with many deciding to 'wait and see' he might pay off.

beams is a bit safer and more likely to go big but if you need cash for other trades then by all means watson

No rush to bring in Grundy. Will wait and see how he goes this week and if he is selected. Vardy is the preferred Geelong ruck and if he can avoid injuries, should see out the season.

Ended up trading Nicholls to Grundy and Staker to Enright instead of Clisby so that I can maximise my $ and with over 180k in the bank I should have just enough cash to trade Clisby to an 89k rookie and Carter to Griffen/Selwood/Beams next round

After next round I'll have Terlich, Mitchell & Bartel/Kennedy on my bench to cover players being rested in the last few rounds
