Just hoping we actually come to the contest with intensity for 4 quarters, no slow starts or full quarter fade-outs.

That would be a tick in my book, regardless of the outcome.
Was gonna say something similar. While it would be amazing for 4 quarters like the first last week, reality is we need to compete for four quarters. They looked half decent last week so we can't expect an easy ride. And the way we played in the middle of the game last week is still a huge concern.

Does Tom Bell still go through the midfield these days or is he playing as a deep forward?

Good luck tonight! looking forward to it.

frantically googling "how to get from beaudesert/jimboomba region to brisbane today". at this stage looks like i wont be able to get to the game today:(, can wait till around 5pm at the latest to try and get in to the gabba.
anybody out there with a helicopter?:)

Army Chinooks flying all those stranded to the game at the Gabba via airlift.

made it to my sons house at dutton park, 2 hour 20 minute trip up the back way through tamborine over the top of tamborine mountain down to nerang and then straight up the M1. plenty of water around you could see where it had been over the road in a few places.

GO LIONS!
Mate, that effort deserves 25% discount on your clique membership.:thumbsu:

I've crunched some numbers on this one and given that a=16, I have Brisbane Lions winning by 32 points. We have the x factor.

Never thought of using Fourier transforms, Taylor's Theorem and the humble old quadratic formula to predict Brissie games. Hats off to you!

I have some inside news Nunez. Apparently 21 players taking the field for Essendon today are uncles. Lets get em boys.
I think you mean CARBUNCLES.

We aren't going to keep up the frantic contested football of the first half last week for the whole game. Hoping we can stem the tide better than we did during the second half last week.

Carn the Lions!
