Essendon would be one of the surest bets of the round. Amazingly the odds favour Fremantle so definitely a good idea to pop some cash on the Dons. Fremantle are a rabble and struggle to beat us in Melbourne. Never beaten us at the Dome. Comfortable victory to the Dons.

Dees turned out well last weekend, at least 20,000 there V North. Surely Collingwood at home to Melbourne opposition at the G will break 50,000.

Freo might just pip the Bombers before 30,000 at the Dome. Carlton will scrape home V the Lions before 39,000 at the Dome. Geelong by God knows how much VS us at a sold out pussiepark.

Collingwood vs Melbourne - Pies should be able to bounce back after suprise loss - Pies by 30pts

Geelong vs Richmond - Tigers to show some spirit but Cats to runaway with game in the end - Cats by 40pts

Carlton vs Brisbane - Should be a close contest, but think the Blues will just hold on - Blues by 5pts

Sydney vs Hawthorn - Worrying signs for Swans, despite never playing there before, Hawks to be far to strong in this one - Hawks by 50pts

Essendon vs Fremantle - Bombers purely because this game is in Melbourne - Bombers by 13pts

West Bulldogs vs Nth Melb - Roos have a great recent record vs Dogs, but still think the Dogs have to much firepower in this one - Dogs by 16pts

West Coast vs Port Adel - Give the Eagles a small chance but can't see Power losing this one - Power by 22pts

I think Richmond will be much improved and don't think it will be the 100 point loss many expect, but Geelong will cruise through this match.
