Any changes needed here? I actually can't afford Zerrett > Danger but was considering Gibbs instead. Apart from that I can't see anything urgent to change?

Something I am thinking of doing next week is Stef > Nic Nat or is that too crazy?

Nothing glaring there, and I think both those trades are unnecessary. Just shuffle your rookies

For me so far raynar to english is an easy choice. Banks me some dollas and he has much higher scoring potential.

Don't need all your rookies to peak at the same time, as you won't want to be dumping them all at the same time.

First two rounds least relevant as well, as their scores only affect 1 and 2 weeks worth of price changes
I agree with some of this

We do need to space our downgrades out so we don't lose out on someone at peak value and that we have options to downgrade to when a good rookie pops up, already got Coffield so that helps in this regard. Dunkley and Barrett were good in this regard too over last couple of years after being dropped for 4-5 weeks.

Imo 2 weeks of good price changes is significant though, 1 price change isn't great though, look at Preuss last year for example I think, only played first 4 rounds but made 160-170k or something off the back of 2 100s, dump him to a rock bottom ruck like Strandica and that was about 190k all up.

Giving 1 more week to see if Naughton can bounce back and to see if Bonner can replicate that performance....no trades for me.

Otherwise next week, Naughton ----> Bonner and a rookie correction if need be.

Zerrett and Libba my issues. As Libba has to be traded, I'll hold Zerrett even if he misses this weekend.

Libba to Petracca; 1 game is enough to see that his tank is greatly improved and the 'more mid time' is real. He's also a threat forward - good vision and great hands. Scored 98 against a bloody good side and he kicked 1.3 so could have been even better. Tyson and Viney not in the team yet will impact his mid minutes, but I'll take the risk - if nothing else he'll be a useful F7/M9 floater.

Petracca has a lot of 2011-15 Dusty about him and his scoring as he seemed to go in bursts on Sunday, but hit the scoreboard too. He got off to a flier, slowed down in the second quarter, had another burst late in the third then slowed down again in the last, though if he kicked straight he could've got a few more points.

Whether it's 2011-12 85avg Dusty or the more consistent 95+ 2013-15 version of him is yet to be seen. But do agree he'll be useful M9/F7 depth.

Petracca was on 85 at 3QT and finished on 98; not great, but acceptable. I was keeping an eye on his scoring as I want to be sure he has the required tank. In one of the JLT games he piled on the points in the last Q - a good sign. Heeney (another option as I don't have him, albeit much more expensive) was on 66 at HT, 90 at 3QT and also finished on 98. Heeney's a jet and he will be in my team but Petracca is obviously better value.

I am very tempted to ditch McDonald for Savage but i'll show some restraint and give it another week before pulling the trigger. I've locked in Ellis to Bonner this round as i found the spare cash and want the option of doing 2 correction trades next round if any of my multitude of mid-pricers fail. Obviously rookie corrections are possible too.

See how McDonald goes in dry Etihad conditions I guess, not sure it would've been ideal for him last week

Armitage to Taranto is tempting

Taranto o_O wasnt to hard to score 100 against the dogs last week

I think Taranto will be good. But Armo should carve v Norf this week.

What to do with Lycett? Nic Nat?

I thought Armitage looked good, what more were you expecting from him ?

Taranto did score really well. I missed that game through work, what type of role did it look like he was playing ?

No changes. Hold Zerrett unless he is ruled out with concussion. I had Zerrett & Zorko in my mids on the weekend which killed my score, but there is no point jumping the gun.

I've got 3 concerns with my side

Zerrett if he's not named i will be trading him, got the cash to go straight to Danger but Cripps did look really good the other night. Banking the extra cash means I'd be close to being able to jump back on in a few weeks.

Playing 3 rookie defenders, not ideal but could work for a few weeks. Happy enough with Murray and Doddee but worried about having to play one of Naughton, Pearce and Finlayson. Bringing in someone with better scoring ability like Bonner or Zac Guthrie is pretty appealing.

Rayner at F5/6. Was never really happy with the selection and just went with it. He's going to have some up and down scores, which isn't ideal for starting him. Getting him to Taranto or DPP him with Sicily for Bonner.

Even thou I scored a sub par 2150, don't think my team is that far off. Got a lot of rookie selections wrong and Probably dropped another ~100 points with Merrett. Get those right and I'm not too far off the pace.

Feel I need to make atleast one trade this week, otherwise I box myself into a corner for next week.
