Personally think this has been tremendously unprofessional by Lyon and Freo. There’s been some obvious targeting going on. We’re all taught that the best way in these situations is to go lower and harder and be tougher. Freo have done the opposite. It’s not bush footy, have a bit of pride in your performance.

Why would Gaff even do that? West Coast were going to win the game and were thumping them. I don't understand where the frustration would have come from. It would be like a Melbourne or GWS player cold decking a Gold Coast or Carlton teenager whilst they are already murdering them on the scoreboard today. It is just a strange situation. Usually these incidents are reserved for close type games with a lot of tension. Don't understand the tension here.....

Howe went straight to the tribunal for a chest jab/punch that went high and got Cripps in the face. Cripps fine didn't go off no injury and Howe got 2. Ball was being thrown in so kind of in the play whilst jostling for position.

Gaff round house off the ball. Probably didn't mean to get him flush but he did.
Brayshaw gone to hospital.

6 weeks.

No he didn’t - Howe got 1 week for the hit, 1 week for POTENTIAL to cause injury. He then got sent straight to the tribunal for the “accidental” as per MC reading trip on Fisher which resulted in a broken fibula and received three weeks

Gaff I think could be looking at 5-6 if not longer as it was so far off the ball and the kid has a broken jaw. Cripps didn’t even leave the ground and Howe copped two and Cameron got 5 and the ball was in play

Dare I say I feel for Gaff as it does seem totally out of character but he has bought this outcome on himself with a one second brain fade - wtf was he thinking. Hopefully Brayshaw makes a full recovery
