I figure when your team is playing interstate you should be able to watch them on TV for free but TV stations would rather show games when we are in Melbourne go figure.
I do acknowledge fans not in vic have it worse though almost like its not really a national game
It's a national game if people living interstate support the local team but those supporting teams for their lifetime who move interstate are treated as an anathema, and ridiculed though draws that simply laugh at you.

My son is utterly devoted to the hawks and has been to melbourne once in his life. He has also seen hawthorn play live once in his life, and then he had a terrible ear ache and couldn't enjoy the game.

Why they can't make sure Hawks at least play once in each state every year is beyond me

Last time Hawthorn won a game without Mitchell and Hodge was round 7, 2002 when Hawthorn thrashed the Cats by 52 points at the MCG.

Essendon Round 2 last year we lost Hodge during the game and Mitchell was a late out.

Was a great win from that point.

Burgoyne, Hill and Gibbo played blinders

Doesn't count towards that particular stat because Hodge did play part of the game.

Massive game for our club today.

We cannot sleep walk through today. We must not go out with a bruise free mindset today or the Lions will challenge us.

Our preps for Finals must begin for the whole team but I am watching today for a few key things that have been giving be the shiits.

1.Langford has had a stinker of a year and needs to get himself up today.
2.Jordan Lewis needs to hit targets by foot today. His kicking this year has been appaling.
3.Josh Gibson needs to get the sharpness back and stop going to ground.
4.James Frawley needs to spoil and run and link up all day and get some urgency into his game.
5.Brad Hill needs to pull his finger out big time and do something today and look like he wants to be a part of it.
6.Roughead needs to jump into packs and take some marks today and needs to lift his work rate.
7.Our Rucks need to compete today and our on ball brigade need to show some fight in the guts without giving the ball up easily.
8.McEvoy and Hale need to go forward and kick 4 between them today.

Today is super important!!!

Agree with all those plus:

1. Bruest needs get involved early and have a crack at the goals if he's within 40 metres.

2. Gunston needs to find some confidence on the set shot.

3. Our younger blokes need to stand up. Brisbane have Rockliff and Taylor but other than that their midfield is pretty average.

4. We need to stick our tackles and hurt the opposition (legally).
