The ball actually just follows Crouch all game. Have no idea how he has scored nearly 50 pts this quarter. Nobody goes near him! I really need to pick types like him in the midfield for next year. No more players that can be tagged like Zorko, no more soft outside types like Phillips, just unassuming accumulators.
I needed Crouch to score less than 160 in my second cash league hence I wasn't really concerned at all. I'm getting a little edgy now though.
Is there any chance North could actually put someone near him?

No, they won't. Exactly my point, he is too unassuming to put any attention on, not when you have Sloane and Laird around. I don't like your chances, Roos would have to win the quarter and control a lot of possession.
Edit: Crouch got a -4 at the break, you are probably slight favourites now haha

Phew. I was surprised as to how long Crouch was on the bench but I was certainly not disappointed.
Now I have to decide as to who to field next week out of Hurn and Seedsman.
Just snuck over the 2500 mark again. Should put me into the top 50 I would think.

2478 which includes new recruit Witherden's 15 points. Should have held the trade and started Austin and pocketed his 86 :rainbow:

2532 and lost my main cash league by 11....thanks rockliff, McLean and Heeney you potatoes. That’s why I complain every week!!!!!

Do you really expect to have every one of your 22 players score over 100 every week? Of course they won't.
McLean is the 4th highest forward over the entire year and you have the stupidity to call him a spud. Naturally, the poor scores your opponents have are OK.
Your ridiculous continuous comments just gives me reason to complain about you every week.
Seeing as how you are now out of your cash league, can we do without your drivel next week?

Making the trade was the right call at the time. If I'd had enough cash I would have traded Hurn to him this week myself. Plan was to do it next week. I was just lucky and you were not.

Oh well, looks like I'll be using my final trade to get him out now. I have the top 5 already. Who would you recommend?

Would've been nice to have had a few trades left, but allwell

15 100s for a change was nice, but a few spud scores from the likes of Spargo, Gray and Zorko hurt my 2500+ chances

Hogan and Howe on the pine...funny how my team seems to perform better when a few are out...couldn't hit 2300 for a few weeks previously while I still had a fit best 22

After Laird, Lloyd, Yeo, Simpson and Brayshaw it becomes very slim pickings now. I've currently got Hurn as my D6 and Austin as my D7. Seedsman is my M9 and could be used in defense if I want but it would leave me without any mid coverage.
As to who to replace Witherden with - there are no great options. Crisp, Hurn, Seedsman or Hurley however every one of them could spud up next week.

2560 and now just outside the top 100 overall. Would be my best finish in a couple of years if I can land inside the top 100 overall.

Held rank 39 for 3 consecutive weeks and just moved up the 4 this week. Scoring right on par.

Would be nice not having Savage, Gaff and Hogan on the bench this time of year!
