Granted it was a high scoring round but 2802 as the week's highest. Ridiculous, and he didn't even have Macrae as captain.

2612 to finish off the year. Not good enough to slide into the top 10, but it's pretty hard to be disappointed with this season.

While it will be nice to have a bit of a break and not have to fret over scores on the weekends, I am sure I will be itching to go come next year.

Finished 36th overall. Considering the debacle of round 13 it's probably not a bad result.
That's two years in a row that one of the bye rounds killed my overall score. I'm hoping I will get a more even spread next year.
Anyway, congratulations to DaVe's Magpies on winning the eliminator and making the top 10 overall and to all the premiers of your leagues whether they be Big Footy, cash or just fun leagues.
Bring on 2019.

What a disaster the last third of the year was for me.

90th overall after Round 16 and finished 400th.

Some really impressive ranks here. I finished 173rd overall. My second year of RDT and I've learnt a lot, still haven't figured out the best trading strategy. Had no trades for the last 4 weeks I think. Need to make sure I have a few trades up my sleeve at the back end so that I don't have to carry spuds like Phillips/Rocky, makes it impossible to start pushing into the top 100. I was improving every week up until I ran out of trades so need to somehow find a way to finish my team earlier. Picking a good starting squad is so important in this format!

There's no doubt getting your initial squad is vitally important in RDT. Amazing how quickly those 30 trades can disappear. Need to pick the right mid priced players who remain as season keepers. Cripps, Beams, Neale, McLean and D Smith were my early successes. Traded Cogs and Brayshaw in early before they went up too much in price.
I always start with one of the highest priced mids such as Titch but only one of the top ruckmen. Always looking to trade out high and trade in low. As a result I am always waiting for a premium to have a terrible game whereby his price plummets for the next 3 weeks. All of the top players have them at some time throughout the year.
In saying all of this you still need a lot of luck. I rarely needed to waste trades this year due to injury which was a major help.

Final Overall ranking a respectable 223rd. Reasonably happy with that considering a slowish start and Rd13 bye disaster with only 12 starters. Averaged 2438 post byes with 3 scores inside the top 100 for the round (28th, 44th, 84th) + 10x 2370+ scores. Still a step down from last year's top70. Will put a bit more time & effort into my initial team next year.

2,636 and, like many, my best score for the year.

Finished in 310th. Very happy with that after getting so much wrong with my starting side and being ranked in the 3800s by round 4.

What a disaster. 5 premiums on the bench doing nothing to end the season when at one stage I had 2 as backups.

Scored 2,196 to bomb from rank 35 to finish 150 overall - 4th worst rank all season. Parker and Buddy late outs and copping 2 donuts did me in.
