I watched the Rabbitohs game earlier, and what great entertainment it was. Cruel on them too, with the injuries. And then the Warriors. Who seemed uncharacteristically flat, and took forever to get going. Some inspired moments from the wonderful Kevin Locke and Shaun Johnson couldn't alter the fact that this was a second win in a row for the Warriors with their B game, and with the fixtures they have left, they''ll need to be producing their A game.

Locke was sensational last night, two try saving tackles including a great cover tackle on Jennings, a long range try, put Johnson through a gap. Alot to like about the way he players.

Sensational end to the Roosters game.

5/5 just quietly, my tipping form the last 5 weeks or so has been sharper than usual!

Things have panned out well for the Warriors. Two tough games ahead of them if they want to stay in 4th place.

I reckon they're a real good chance in both those games. Hope a massive crowd get along to the Cowboys clash. If they finish 4th there's whisperings about it being a logistical challenge to play an NRL qualifying final and kick off the penalty party at the same time. Really pissed that some people think the whole city should shut down for a New Zealand v Tonga game.....

Both Northcote-Birkenhead Tigers lads too :D. Shit they're fast. And with Slaimhankel hopefully booting Tupou out of the side next season they'd possibly be the quickest team in the competition. Really excited to think that a real premiership window is beginning to open for the Warriors.

Yes, Locke was indeed superb. To Bomber's list in #30 you could add some sensational clean pick-ups of the ball on his own try-line. I still say the rest of the team weren't quite firing on all cylinders as they have in recent weeks, though. Even the usually imperious Maloney looked a little out of sorts to me, although you could attribute it to his being well-looked after by the Panthers, who didn't do that much wrong.

F&A differential is around 50 ... We play the Gold Coast on Monday night @ Campbelltown and then Cronulla ...... 50 may not be enough.

If we turn up to play, the Gold Coast will get thumped next week.

I know no-one on here has a good word for the Titans, but it seems strange to me how they've struggled this season after being pretty decent last year, with largely the same players. On paper their squad isn't bad: with Bird, Prince, Zillman, Bailey, Campbell etc, it's surely a lot better than the Sharks or the Dogs, say (I realise I'm damning with faint praise here, but still...). Have they really missed 45-year-old Matt Rogers that much? :p

Beau Henry is complete rubbish, of course. Playing him in the halves whilst Preston is sat on the bench looks madness to me.

The game I enjoyed most this round (apart from the Storm game) was the come from behind win by the Rabbits over the Cowboys.

What really pees me off is the fact that Chris Sandow is moving to the Eels next year when he seems to be the heart and soul of his team and loves playing for the red and greens.

I'm not sure whether he's going to have the same sort of freedom he has at Souths under the more regimented game plan that Kearney has in place at the Eels.

Opinions pls?

Hard to see why he'd want to move to the Eels, certainly. What is up with Sam Burgess for him to be out for a whole season? Luke has been doing well, though. I liked that when he dropped a few balls in that game and was rotated, he came back at the end of the game with a really strong session.

I just watched the Storm game and it was an absorbing battle. The Dragons haven't become a bad side overnight, but they are certainly still a way off their game. Interesting that Widdop seemed to run the ball a lot more wearing the 7 jersey. He didn't always make the right decisions, but showed his pace and footwork with two excellent line-breaks. Of course he's still learning, and could hardly be surrounded by better tutors.

I daresay you'd like to have Maloney back, though, Coop?

Never looked at your guys draw and nope, 50 points might not be enough given your opponents. A win in Wollongong bcomes even more crucial.

We may well end up playing each other in the first week.

We'll likely lose to Cronulla :)

Tigers v Auckland IMO is a near certainty. Where being themain question. Unless Saints pull their finger out.

Winning comfortably against the scums was huge for us yday. Particularly given we weathered their challenge and settled into a nice win. They beat us more times than nit and mostly it's a lack if an ability to handle their pack / allowing far too many offloads. Much more relaxed now we gave that game out of the way.

If only we could get our left side attack on the field at the same time (as opposed to none of the three yday), we might actually give things a shake

Theyve been hit pretty hard by injuries, especially Prince and their forward pack hasnt been dominant enough to get some good offense going

Yes, and Prince wasn't always in the best of form even when he was playing. He's still a class act, though, and is one of the players I always look forward to watching every week.

Prince has been pretty terrible this season, and wasnt great last year, Rogers really made that team. The forward pack has just aged a year when they didnt all have a year to age. Backline was never outstanding.

I also agree with Cooper here (first time for everything), both dad and myself have been saying for a little while that Sandow just fits in at the Rabbitohs, his game has improved alot this year and is a shame to see him leaving that club. Also doubt he'll fit the extremely structured style of Parra's game at the moment (who would be pretty undeserving spoon winners if they pick it up, IMO, been much more competitive than the **** and Canberra, but just dont have any points in them).

Well I had to put the highlights on at breakfast this morning just to check that Benji really did throw that pass to Beau Ryan, and I wasn't just seeing things last night. :p

Magisterial from Marshall, with a fine solo try to boot. Have to say I've never seen Moltzen play better for the Tigers either. I've never been that impressed with him, but he really was excellent on Friday. If he's going to St. George, are the Dragons hanging onto Darius Boyd? TBF, I'd have Boyd over Moltzen in a heartbeat. Unless he plays like that every week, of course.

Boyds signed for Newcaslte Moto, he likes to follow uncle Wayne around.

Fullback is the real weakness of the Tigers side, otherwise (with Lawrence and Tuqiri especially) very good attacking backline

Ah, cheers, Bomber. So I suppose Boyd will be f-b next year at Newcastle with Gidley at 7? Funny that, cos Gidley always looks more effective at 1 than 7 to me, and I'm sure other posters here have said the same.

As for the Tigers, yeah, Mackinnon not all that, and he's going to some rubbish Superleague team anyway... :p Maybe they've got some promising youngster to blood at full-back?

I'd think Boyd fullback, Stigg and Mullen halves and Kidley hooker. But could be Mullen and Gidley halves
