Can’t tell if you’re being serious or not?… I think it’s pretty obvious that a team can wear red shorts vs a team wearing blue

So Hawthorn, GWS, Richmond, Essendon don’t have blue, why can’t both teams wear home?

Each of the clubs you've mentioned have what can be considered darker coloured shorts. Brown, charcoal and black are all dark and don't provide adequate contrast against navy blue. Tonight, red is a lighter colour in the context of the combination, red and royal blue, and thus provides an adequate contrast.

So applying this theory to round 1, why wasn’t the bulldogs in a clash uniform?

Both in dark jumpers and both blue, why isn’t clash enforced?

Jumpers are clearly more dominating in uniform than shorts.

If the AFL were consistent they would have been.

I guess that’s my whole problem hear.

Let all these other things through but Navy Blue shorts are evil.

I am sorry, but There is plenty of clubs we could both wear home shorts and not be an issue, this is double standards pure and simple

Totally agree- ridiculous Geelong and north can’t wear home shorts but the “big 4” don’t even wear clash jumpers. Collingwood v Carlton is especially awful.

It looks like it says Sydney on the collar, and the sponsor is under that.

I guess it makes sense Harbour Bridge and SMFC on the home, Red V(For Victoria) and Sydney on the away.

I wonder the reaction if Brisbane did the FFC monogram on the away and just had the word Brisbane on the neck?
