the short kicking by the dogs is killing us though.
Our mids are getting pantsed pretty badly with closing off those short kicks. so definitely room for improvement.
Though we are beating them in all stats for the stoppages.

The positive is that you can actually see what we're trying to do. And we almost do do it occasionally. But we seem to lack the skills and endurance to do it consistently for a full quarter let alone game. Also seem to lack any structure up forward. But that might be a stamina thing too.

The forward half piece needs a lot of work, need to lower the eyes - there just isn't the cattle to bomb it down there.

Ginbey and Chesser have about 20 AFL games played each. At least let them play 50 before jumping on them.
Players like Reid, Sheezel, Ashcroft, etc, who have immediate impact at AFL level are diamonds in the rough, not the norm. Some need to remember that.
