Colyer and matera have been fine. Cox rogue Walters, Hogan, Sturt, Lobb , Mindy newly Bradshaw etc etc are the ones who are playing garbage (so is auto correct)

Careful , you won't make any friends around these parts calling out those BF darlings

I have memories of a game in torrential rain where port tore us apart like it was dry.

They're one of the last teams I'd choose to play in the wet.

Those grabs Dixon took were ridiculous when other players couldn't even hold onto handballs.

22 inside 50’s to 2 and it’s the fault of the 3 small forwards...interesting analysis

Yeah people blaming the forwards are way off the mark

midfield, midfield midfield

The retirement of Sandilands is one massive reason for our weak midfield. They had it too easy for too long. We desperately need to trade for a decent ruck.

I’m not watching but the stats seem pretty even.
midfield sh*t themselves second quarter?
Rain came but we still tried to handball our way out of congestion. That ... well ... didn’t work.
Port talls still clunked marks but there were a lot of double grab fumbles in our marking contests from the outlet kick. As a result the ball kept on rebounding back into Port’s 50.
After about 10 minutes of that our forward structure lost all shape and structure as the forwards got sucked up the ground to help out the defence. So nothing to kick to. So when we did win the ball at half-back, we still had to handball waiting for forward to get into position.
Which, in the rain, lead to disaster.
It was a terrible, vicious circle.

We had 1-2 inside 50s in a quarter, not until the last minute, not sure it's overreacting.

It felt like we tried to play exactly the same as the first quarter while port switched into wet weather mode, kicking for territory and not trying to play some precision possession game that is impossible to execute in the conditions.
100% this.
It was the lack of leadership that was appalling.

When it’s wet, kick. Just drive out out of danger.
