Thought this too, that we would be coming home with the strong breeze until then it dropped off, although we didn't run away with it, the Bombers have had very strong second halves in all their games. Glad we managed to get the W as it puts us into the Top 8

Maybe you get 30 seconds if your inside 50 and you don’t if your outside. Even if you can make the distance you have to get it moving like any other kick you get around the ground. Take the guesswork out of the umpires control

I understand that but generally speaking we should be trying to remove any grey area from decision making where we can. The umpire shouldn’t have to guess how long a kick a player is as part of the decision making process. Define within the rule the distance where the 30 second rule applies and that decision becomes a very simple one.

If Poppy is available next week that’d be good coming up against Bris, we’ll be able to see where we are at against a top side.
Can’t see ESS beating Coll so if we can keep it close maybe go past em on percentage and get a game clear in the 8.
