After a pretty frustrating fortnight for most coaches what are you looking at doing?

I'm already refreshing the Fantasy app awaiting it to open to move on Zerrett.

Wait on news on Liam Ryan. Hoping it's just a minor ankle. But not so sure till scans/medic news I guess.

2nd trade NFI. The rest of my team are playing, just underperforming as usual. If Ryan is out for a bit then I guess I'll look at Higgins or someone else.

Not too sure about my second trade, maybe Rayner to Higgins. Could also consider trading Hibberd as he's doing my head in, not sure if I want anyone other than K.Simpson though.

Trades will depend on Ryan but currently thinking:
Hibberd -> Coffield
Young-> premo fwd (might even consider gola now with gablett injured).

Otherwise might need to go ryan -> lesser premo fwd such as walters/mclean and downgrade young next week (dont want to carry donuts).

Liam Ryan out I suppose - maybe Gowers, Crowden.

I think I'm in too deep on Zerrett.

Will move out Beams if not playing next week otherwise will be carrying Brayshaw or Banfield on field.
Not sure for whom as yet but have Finlayson in backline who could DPP in to mids to get Laird in backline, if none of the potential mids are appealing.

Yep, no choice but to hold now.

Going Naughton > Coffield; second trade not too sure.. Billings > Gray a possibility.

So tempted to do side way trading with some premo's but will have to back em in and build a warchest.

I hate the sight of Venables in my team .. Had to put him in for Sicily. Wish there's a decent downgrade option.

Do you believe he can get back to his best mate? From round 15 through to round 22 Zerrett averaged 105. Six of those nine games he scored under 100 too. I really don't know what went wrong but M0nty who runs FanFooty was warning people off him in the preseason because of this, I thought he was crazy but he's proving to have some merit or should I say Merrett.

We'll ignore round one because that was nothing but bad luck but I'm really doubting his ability to be a top eight midfielder, if I don't see him as a top eight mid then there's no real point in keeping him. Opposition teams now put more attention into him and don't let him run around like he used to. The Bombers now have Smith and Stringer who are getting big chunks of midfield time and really aren't relying on Zerrett a lot.

With a breakeven of 165 he's only going to continue to drop, I'm just going to cut my loses and move on.

Keep a close eye on Walters this week mate, had his hand stood on late in the game, looked in a lot of pain and stayed off.

I avoid key forwards at all cost but he isn't a standard one, lots of time up the ground.

Not entirely sure what to do here. I think I'm fairly right with suspensions and injuries so should have 2 luxury trades (touch wood).

Have a warchest of about 540k, thinking:

Brayshaw -> Lyons

Rayner -> Esava
or
Neale -> Cogs

The first one doesn't really add anything to my side, just gets Rayner the **** out of it. Is Neale worth holding another week?

I think I will trade Merrett this week. He is not in any kind of form and costing me a lot. Even if he does find form and average 120 for the next month, he’ll still be close to 550k. I’ll wait for him to find form before I trade him back in in one month, minimum. Have the money to get him to Gibbs.
