Looking at Scott up to Libba. Would prefer it to be Gibbons or Atkins that goes but don’t have the bank to make that happen. Plan to stick phat with Rocky for now. Hopefully he gets up for this round as it’s a markfest vs the Tiges right now.

At least Atkins still has a negative BE and can jump start his price rises again with a decent score. Scott is likely to get dropped.

Main thought is Goldy to Max. Wen't Heeney to T Kelly last week ( i know ). Stick with Goldy ( be 142, ) or grab Max ( be 116 ). Seems logical, but the trades are a burning
I’m giving it one more week even though the odds are in favour of it being more economical to make that move now. But I’d rather focus my trading efforts elsewhere this week.

Besides I believe Gawn hasn’t tonned up against the Swans the past 2 games so will be praying that trend continues. That is probably just wishful thinking though.

Agreed. It could be quite the rookie bloodbath over the next 96hrs so that could tweak any trading plans obviously.

If ever Goldy is going to bounce back, it should be next week. Apparently Jacobs will miss again and the guy who filled in for him last week had absolutely no idea.

Balta to Lockhart

Eh

Not a great move, only get 27k there, his DPP is the most appealing thing about him

Can Lockhart punch a few more 60s/70s out and get to 300-350k or so? If he did then it wouldn't be too bad for a burnt trade on Balta, but can he?

Balta to Markov could work too, but I'm 38k down on that one

I was thinking of paying the cash to get Burgess to give me a link with Rozee. But how long will Rozee be worth having before upgrading him ?? Don't know if it's worth it.

Also Pups can you suggest why Libba is suddenly scoring so well ?? Has the development of the Dogs midfield allowed him to now find more of the footy cos he's not a sole focus anymore ?? I didn't start Libba as his scoring history wasn't remotely exciting or reflective of a former premo mid. His scoring was actually pretty terrible from an RDT sense. But the first 3 weeks reflect something different and it's not as if it's just been against sub standard opposition ??

I dunno mate, he's playing some inspired footy currently

Who knows how long he can keep it up for

He did average 97-98 in 2013-14, perhaps he's back to that range?

Maybe 666 is helping him?

From what I saw he runs hard to get to the contest, then once there he's inside. Tackles and handballs to kicks.

I have him in my team this week but for cash and onfield points. Obviously not ideal I've had to pay 80k more. But still has 200k in him I'd think.

Everyone’s trades are going to change come 625 Thursday:
- Tim kelly is a test..yes, he will have had a 9-day break but they may give him extra time with Easter Monday coming up round 5
- drew will be dropped. He played 86% game time for 9 touches. He can’t play when wines plays. He’s only chance of playing is if rocky is out.
- whilst port say rocky has pulled up fine, that means nothing. Concussion symptoms can take affect days after the incident. They won’t play him if not 100%. They will beat Richmond without him easily.
- setterfield is due for a rest. He’s got worse each game he’s played. Went at only 45% last week.
- bailey Scott big chance to be dropped. 12 touches after his 8 the week before. Scott will go with more senior side this week to try get a W. Anderson and ahern will come in.
- gibbons will be dropped so won’t make much more $$. Can’t see him playing many more games. He’s a VFL player.

I started Lyons and after an ok score in rd 1 he has had a couple of stinkers, the past 2 games he has started incredibly slowly (was on 0 at quarter time last week with 0 stats). I have the cash to bump him up to Macrae, good move or should I ride him out?

I'm surprised you even have to contemplate it. I would have pulled the trigger on that on Sunday night the second lockout finished.

Is Westhoff to Mumford dumb? To leap to gawn in 3 weeks?

Westhoff is going to leak cash. And gawn probably bottomed out or not far off it.

Haha i did exactly that, just needed a voice of reason to make sure I wasn't being hasty 😁

Suspicion Preuss will play this week, so for those who didn't start with Gawn, maybe give it one more week
Yes I was already likely holding off another week on a Goldy -> Gawn trade but if Preuss plays there's no way I would pull that trigger this week. Maxy also has a pair of 80s in his previous 2 match-ups vs the Swans and that was as a solo ruck.

I notice no one is mentioning Wagner. i am thinking of swapping Gibbo out for him. Thoughts?

Brad: "Every rookie will be dropped"

"Even Walsh, Butters and Constable, but they'll be rested"
