Would you rather Gaff + Noble or Dangerfield + Brodie Smith?
I just wouldn't want Noble.

Nobles last 2 41&50 (in Collingwood wins/draw)
Smith 45&73.. (in Adelaides big losses)

If you're outscored by Smith, who most don't want, you can't be that great.

Gaff will be a handy VC loop next week, but Danger has the following Thursday against St Kilda.

And also Hamill + 70k vs Rivers? Both players will be on my bench

My sincere apologies to anyone who listened to me on trading English. I dont know what to say. I had him from the start too and traded him this week too. Lets just hope his replacement Gawn doesnt shit the bed.

Still 1 trade left.
Was going Brayshaw to Gresham but with Brayshaws 47pts in first half he is still capable of making money & points. 7pt second half as the rain came & port got on top.
Seems I'm giving Brodie Smith & Brayshaw another week.

Tempted to add $1k to Pickett and bring in Serong but then I can't lock in McInerney's 50pts (E) but do I need that at the expense of full green dots..
Caleb Serong had some big numbers in the U18 carnival.
Other option is to ditch McHenry for Serong.

Who'd have thought 3 trades would create problems.

Anyone wanna do my last trade? I have $109k plus this side..

Naismith out means he's a locked in trade waiting to happen. Let's hope it doesn't take all year for a replacement to pop up.

Nice team you have there. Some good PODs who are performing well.

See if there is something you can do with McAsey, he has a little bit of $ to go, but not a lot

Cheers, I went the other Mc,
McHenry to Serong in the mids.
I rate McHenry far higher than his stat line suggests (plus couple of years in the system)
But,
0 kicks, 2 handballs, 4 tackles, & 2 frees against is woeful for cash making
Imagine if he didn't get 4 tackles....
All that in 86 minutes onfield.

Will not let Naismith's effort be in vain, will take his E score and get Pittonet next week. Naismith does not deserve to have his score wasted on the bench, doesn't sit right with me.

Ceglar, thanks for your service but I think you're gonna get belted against Goldy this week.

Ceglar to Hamill via Brander to fwd.
Whit to Simpking
Pickettspud to Tadams....just did not quite have enough for Gaff unfortunately.

found a way to get Gaff but it involves passing Simpkin for someone cheaper

A: Simpkin + Tadams/Lyons/Danger
B: Dan Butler + Gaff

I might take a points hit this week but I feel Gaff is going to be consistent every week. Tadams has Trel issue, Lyons can have down games, Danger can also just have stinkers and is too much drama for me.

Also, so many people jumping on Simpkin. Might be a POD move to pass on him.

Roll with it. I like it. (Plus, your melts of misfortune are a board highlight so if Butler stinks it up against his old side Richmond, I've got something to look forward to)

Imagine you were a crows supporter and had to watch McHenry's 14..and had him and Chayce Jones (20) on your field

And then Whitfield gives you another 10!

Might not suit all teams, but something for people to consider.

Have C.Darcy as R2, with Naismith as R3 (for that juicy 76 score). Traded in Mr World Wide (Pit) into the utility spot early, so i gain his price increase this weekend. I'll then trade out Naismith next week (via utility) to a cash cow.
Was my plan exactly. Until I forgot I shuffled Cavarra to my utility spot during the week and forgot to reverse before lockout. RIP

FFS Xerri this was the only week you weren't supposed to play! Can't take Naismith's score now, over to Pitt. Also affects Goldstein.

Serong, Butler, McAdam, Poholke (should play lots of midfield??) and Philp make for some decent rookies in this week.

I've spent the whole day thinking about my trades while at work, and even after teams getting dropped I've got nothing.

Locking
Brayshaw > Simpkin
Holding Whitfield

My team is filled with all these under priced players that the only 2 players I want to think about trading are Brodie Smith and Houston.

So thinking Smith > L.Ash?
Pickett > Ward

Will give me 7 sketchy mids and Rowell.
But i can't find anywhere else to go with lack of reliable defenders - dont want Weller away from metricon

What are you lads doing with Bennell and Pickett? Both got cash to make. Bennell back next week you’d think. Is it wise to give the new rookies a week and have a look?
Keeping both, have been forced with so many other trades (Dunkley & Houston), and had to finally get rid of Cavarra who was doing nothing. So holding. Surely Bennell is back next week, not sure about Pickett, doesn't do it for me personally. I think Poholke @ 288k is nicely priced, assuming he should play midfield minutes, looked good in a JLT game against the Dees, fingers crossed.

I traded Pickett, will keep Bennell and hope its just a rest. If not he goes next week.
