Just did my first trade - Meesen to Kruezer. Felt terrible but needed to be done. Next week Marty Clarke to Rhys Palmer and Aaron Edwards to Nick Riewoldt.

Just traded in my man Beau Waters. I should've had him from Round 1.
Ah well, thought I'd cut my losses and bring him in. He's going to have a ripper year, as he's already shown glimpses of what his playing style will be. Predominantly a HB/HF linkup man but will also be rotated on the ball.

Thumbs up from me. Cornes should be in everyone's team, and Palmer on the field is a good thing.
Don't like the Bowden to Cornes trade.

About to trade S.D.Thompson to Goddard.
Realise the risk in Goddard but he looked good last week and plays the sweeping half-back role, not to demanding.
I could go N.J.Brown to Waters or Hartlett to Milburn but i think Thompson is least likely to get games and Goddard is better than the other two in terms of DT.

I would've got Waters instead, I actually think he will outscore Goddard this year and establish himself as a premium backman.
Although maybe that's some of my bias seeping through.
Hope Goddard goes well this week. I agree with your train of thought regarding the other rookies. Gotta love the feeling of trading in a gun player!
The things is i can only get Waters over Goddard if i trade Brown (need a player on the bench that actually players even if he only gets 30 every week).

Might have been better to trade Palmer in this week (Rd 4 is his third game), and Kreuzer next (Rd 5 is his third game). Likely to have saved yourself an extra 60-70K.
Bloody I just traded out Nicoski for Waters to find out Nicoski has been named in the Center to replace Embley
You have upgraded a non-keeper to a keeper, don't see any problem with that. Good trade if you ask me.
Exactly my thinking. Disappointed I didn't get him at the start of the season, but yet happy that his average round one and two scores allowed me to get him with just a $10,000 price rise.
