How quick is Fergus O'Neill? Averages 20 from 21 FC matches. That's a ridiculously good start to one's career. Can also hold the willow it appears averaging 22 with a fifty. Higher honours ever a possibility?
I think he was described as similar to Chadd Sayers, so not rapid.

On the gun I would say he is late 120s maybe 130 at a nudge .
He does bowl heavy so would feel a bit quicker the face.
He does rush the odd top order bat off the deck from time to time .

I guess the question is whether he is just that yard pedestrian for the next level

That's a bummer, numbers like that don't come around often even at FC level. Plus pace bowlers is an area Australia has well and truly covered depth wise.

He is a quality bowler at FC level .
I've seen him live a few times ( it's never the same as facing it ) and my gut feel is he will be that yard back to really trouble international players .

Would say he hits the deck harder than Sayers did though .

sayers was in the air fergie more off the seam. stuart broad by the end was bowling roughly the same speed but is a tad taller so O'Neill aim should be to get to 135ish like stuart broad was and you can be very sucessful in the game.

our bowling stocks on paper look strong but i reckon O'Neill would jump the line pretty fast i'd have him 3rd in line atm boland, morris, him

Ahead of Richardson?

I'd be thinking if we are talking being next in line for test selection that fitness is a major prerequisite.
Which is why he'd be behind
