Melbourne did a similar one a few years back. Would be happy if it was our design every year.

2018's is my favourite. Silhouette of an Ottoman soldier carrying an Australian officer.

I'm torn with the changing kit design for these special jumpers. I think if it's indigenous, multicultural or country kits I'd prefer a different design every year or two. For remembrance/Anzac kits I think I'd prefer a more simple design that is repeated every year, maybe with slight changes. I do like the story essendon is going with, while using the same design element they have over the last couple of seasons (the 2018 kit was the best for the dons imo).

Very strange to have no announcement from Geelong or introduction on the socials. Almost like they rather having an Alternate strip be done and not spoken about again
Not selling it, which is weird, given how much other rubbish they sell.

Trying to figure out why the Geelong clash jumper still looks as white for me, if not whiter, than the standard. Home jumper has 6 white hoops and clash only has 5. But both jumpers have a white hoop at the bottom. So I think the clash actually has one fewer hoop and looks more white than it needs to.

Edit: I actually think the white hoops on the clash are wider than the navy hoops, which makes no sense when trying to minimise white.

Yeah I'd like to know how that guernsey met the 70/30 ratio rule from the constitution.

Either the top white band should be navy on the front and all navy on the back or the top 2-3 bands should be navy on the front and the back retained.

These all out Anzac guernseys where they switch their pattern for poppies or similar, they just look so tacky. Do they even sell that many?

what would happen when north play at geelong given they have two white based jumpers?
They play each other again this season so we will find out

My guess is either an indigenous guernsey (although they play weeks after indigenous round) or Cats light/Dark Vs north Light/Light

Which shouldn't be acceptable IMO, maybe the AFL will make North create a dark clash guernsey like the Cats had to do, it seemingly came out of nowhere

I think the (front of the) 2015 guernsey was more navy and looked better than 2022. Pity about the tramp stamp on the back which is now gone.

2016 clash jumper that was never worn because North was full royal is the ultimate clash jumper for us

Which is weird because they have sold this clash jumper a year or two ago, I've got one myself!

Today looks great. It generally always is when Collingwood is the away team, but there’s a really pleasing distinction between the two sides.

I think Essendon’s design is odd though. Not continuing the poppy design on the back makes it look quite lopsided – a brighter back versus a darker front.

I personally was a big fan of Geelong's 2013 clash. Effective clash, a point of difference, but still identifiably Geelong.

Personally we are known for the hoops, and uneven hoops loses its Geelong Feel.

Yeah this is the one. The slightly thinner white hoops really make the navy stand out far more, particularly on the front.
