Why does horse play a premiership backman forward(lrt)... especially when walker is on fire.. richards needs help

LRT ( v Rutten0 and Reid (v Talia) are effectively acting as decoys for Goodes at FF v Henderson.

With ROK our other deepish fwd, against Reilly who is only 183 cm,.

Mark to ROK.
Goal.

73 v 71.

It's a very effective set up at present.

Another goal to Goodes.

79 v 71

Scotty, i rate you the highest on here, but you must agree lrt should be playing back, with stints in the ruck to help seaby...

IMO only if we have someone else to engage Rutten up forward (eg Everitt).

The open fwd line this qtr has worked very well, in part because Rutten/Talia can't get back to go 3rd up.

Also unless Mckenan/Jacobs go fwd we don't have a natural match up for LRT, unless we swap Ted (off Walker) or Grundy (off Tippett).

I thought Grundy has been good, with Tippett unseen and Walker's goals have mostly been from the 50 metre line.

I'd leave it as it is at present (although, broken record time I'd bring Everiit on, ideally for McGlynn).

3QT time, Syd 11.7 79 v Adel 11.6 72

What we need is someone to drive one of those grass peg's into dangerfield the guys killing us

Forget tippet dangerfield is too good,

hopefully we can keep the pressure up force them to drop another player back in defence and surrender the rebound.
