Just doing Rozee to Baker at this stage. Will wait for teams before deciding whether to upgrade somewhere else.

good side, good plan :thumbsu:

Drew on the bench feels like a waste though. have you considered swinging Moore into defense, Setterfield forward and Duursma into mids?
gets Drew on field, Scrim off, opens up your D/M link and gives you a better Mid E should Constable miss again.
it's a whole lot of messing around for marginal gains (if any) but i'm just throwing it out there.

Cheers. I just tried it and not sure it’s best for trade plans for next week. It’s better for this week though you’re right. Something to consider, thanks mate.

I'd feel dirty blowing both of my trades for the week before the first game of the round though!!

I'd love to do the double down this week but need to start upgrading at some stage. Hayes and Hately likely on the bubble next week, with Bewley, North and Hind still to put in appearances. Lots of mid rooks, but scarcely any others, which is why Baker is the must have for me this week.

I would consider Lockhart, but Rocky is likely to rise by just as much this week as Lockhart, and should score a lot more points. Gotta get me some of that action!!

Hey guys, have $72k/26 Trades... I'm considering these 2 trades this week:
Collins -> Lockhart
Atkins -> Rockliff

Ideally I'd like to get Whitfield to strengthen up my defence but not keen on trading out Williams or Smith at this stage...

Or any other area I should focus on?

Atkins still has a negative BE and got more mid time last week when Parfitt got injured. The other thing that impacts that is that it then puts Constable on the bench, when he will probably score higher than some of the rookies you have on the field in other lines. If you are intent on getting Rocky (I am) I'd probably cull Brayshaw for him, unless you are confident Brayshaw will come good.

Wouldn’t you just get someone later then? Seems like a weird time to do it especially if you get injuries and what not?

Quite the opposite. I prefer the extra loophole doughnut on 2 lines now while I'm forced to start rookies on field. Minimises the risk of a 20-30 type score on-field.

We also have to play a home game at Marvel against clubs that play there more often than we do.
8 of our games at the MCG are against other tennants/half tennants. Home ground advantage for us is basically non existent.
West Coast traveled over 40,000km last year and that was during H&A alone.

That's more distance then one of your mob will travel in their whole career

Collingwood supporters get a bit touchy when I point out the leg up they got in 2010 playing 10 games in a row at the MCG prior to the GF replay.

It was no wonder they were the fresher team when they hadn't had to travel for about 3 months, St Kilda only got 2 games at the MCG prior to the finals.
We've beaten Collingwood the last 4 times we've played them. Every game has been at the G except one in Perth but that was a final so we had to earn that home game.

These downgrade trades are doing my head in.

I’m coming around to the Lockhart in, still don’t think he’ll be playing during the byes but should be able to manoeuvre him around and get by.

Then I have the options of Ross, Stack and Baker. If I’m going the more expensive option I’d prefer Stack over Baker.

So tossing up between Ross and Stack. Purely for cash generation from here which requires job security. Thoughts would be appreciated. Not concerned with scoring, as they likely won’t score, well they might, they’ll be in competition with Drew.
