Starting to consider S.Mitchell as an option. I'm sure he'll bounce back from a shitty game last week. I generally don't like a Friday night captain but i may make an exception this time!

check out tigers possession rates versus oppositions

tiges just love to keep and possess the ball, not that they are that good at it this year but it has been successful for them previously

Good point. Not many players have gone big against them but i still think Mitchell could score well in what i expect to be a very one-sided game. In saying that I'm leaning ever so slightly towards Hannebery

I'd have to say it is the weakest Hawks team I've seen in 10 years purely on paper

they look bloody horrible on paper, they shouldnt have beaten the crows and the saints certainly had their chances (Freekickhawthorn) rings a bell

not sure it will be one sided at all

I'm not overly confident in the Hawks team either but Richmond have been absolutely shithouse so far this season. Richmond can chip it round all they want but they have an incredibly one dimensional forward line (especially with Lambert out) and their disposal going inside 50 has been appalling in the games I've seen them play. The Hawks depth will definitely be tested but I'd still expect them to win by 30+. I hope I'm wrong and its a close game but obviously i have no faith in Richmond at the moment.

I'd never captain against the Dogs for the same reason

We just hold the damn thing and do nothing with it

I am so so tempted to Captain GAJ this week

At the moment its Steele and Steven but something says GAj could go nuts
I'd want to see GAJ put together a 130 before considering him

I thought the Pups have had reasonably speedy ball use this year?

Why Hanners and not Parker (assuming you don't already have him)? 119 average compared to 107 and $19K cheaper.

i don't think Parker's average of 119 will be sustained. i see it falling to 105.
Hannebery's average of 107 looks more sustainable. i see it reaching 110 (that's what he averaged last year)
that's why i spent the extra $$$ on Hanners... because i think he's got more points in front of him

Last 2 games away Hanners has averaged 130

Last 2 games at home he has averaged 100

This makes no sense
