Clark is an interesting one.

Might not play this week and maybe might not have a spot next.

Is he a move on early type?

Just saw on the news they said he will return to the senior side

His scoring is bog average though so upgrade if you can

Not getting Ross is going to punish me every week it seems. Was to busy doing Taranto to Libba...just absolutely disgusted at myself

Scrim out means I have no def bench

Holding Cousins last week another horrible mistake now, was too busy doing Parker to Billings. Now I have Cousins and Constable out of my starting midfield. Simply have to make trades to get a mid premo now, else I'm fielding BOTH Atkins and Butters.

If I had Whitfield to deal with as well then I would give up.

Not getting Ross an absolute killer..not only will he will score 80+ so constable being dropped would be irrelevant...he’s going to make $250+k... instead I’ll need to cop a butters or gibbons 60 or under..

lol I wish I could field Butters! Just realised I need to downgrade Butters to get the cash to turn Cousins into a premo. Now I have to field Atkins hahaha

Are you downgrading Butters to Hayes? If so play him

Was planning on going with Answerth just for better JS (I think), but yeah I think I'm forced to get Hayes to simply avoid having to field Atkins.

What gives you the idea Noah has better JS?

Not sure on Answerth JS, more that I feel that Hayes isn't going to last too long. Bulldogs midfield is seriously unstable right now and the more they lose, the more they will make changes to that area. I think soon they are just going to throw Crae and Dunks in there full-time and that means Hayes probably is surplus to needs

Holding Dunkley just in that hope.
Surely they see that his best work was done in there.

Crisp owners should be very nervous. A lot are forced into fielding some pretty average rookies this week and need their premos to pick up the slack considerably. Crisp, however, is so overdue for a bad score it isn't funny. If he has a sub 60 score I will genuinely struggle to get 1800 this week. Already have an injured Cogs 80 coming up, Crisp friday night is crucial

ik he got injured during the match vs sydney
thats why i said he didnt have a good game

You're missing the more involved reason why people are discussing trading him

what are Whitfield owners doing?
I don't have him but I think you have to hold, don't want to miss his good run of games. Think he comes back next week and goes straight back to 120s. The corkie can't have been too bad if he basically played out the whole game, gws didn't have to risk him as they had the game well under control. I think they are just being precautionary and he should play next week. I'd say the only reason to trade him is to avoid a doughnut, no other reason to burn multiple trades trading him out and getting him back in

It is tempting to do what Pups discussed and it has merit. I have 22 trades left, I'm not sure that's enough to justify it

Same reason. 23 trades and burning 2 for the same player I can't justify.

While you do use 2 trades, you’re really only burning 1 thou.

An example could be
Trade 1, Whitfield down to Stewart
Trade 2,Smith to Whitfield in round 10.

Doing that you’ve added another premium in Stewart, the people who hold still would need to trade Smith to Stewart to be in the same position.

So the actual trade cost would be one trade, The gain would be the points difference between Stewart and Whitfield (including a rookie score this round) and the dollar value of what Whitfield losses and Stewarts gain/loss.

At this stage I’m not going ahead with it, because basically I’m sitting on some decent cash, will be in a position to continue to bring in premiums in the following 2/3weeks.

There’s also the real chance that some other players could be bottoming out at the same time, potentially Macrae, Cripps, Neale, Treloar. Someone else could throw up a score out of the ordinary.

I do currently have Whitfield, Scrimshaw and Clark. So unless Clark makes the cut I will be revising my trades and might have to miss out on Tim Kelly

Hayes is a half forward/outside type

Will get DPP in AFL Fantasy

Stop talking rubbish please, the likes of Richards, Hunter, Lloyd, Dickson etc are his competition

I feel Cripps, Macrae and Neale will bottom out before Whitfield due to them playing and Whitfield isn't

Someone like Laird and Boak will likely bottom out after this week though (Kelly did last week)

I like this.....

Has some merit to it doesn’t it, I carried Clark last round because I used my trades in the early game. If he’s doesnt make the final cut, I’ll be tempted by this.

True they’ll bottom out before Whitfield, it’s just a lot of cash need to grab Whitfield and another one of those very close to each other.

I can still go Whitfield/McCarthy to Kelly/Stewart this week. Also with Constable out means I’d be keeping and fielding Libba over Hayes/Settlefield. So it has some temptation for me.

What’s your thought on Hayes, he’s be the player I’m missing out on if I do trade Lachie. He’s scoring decent enough, just his J/S is the main worry at the moment
