Round 7 trades

This week I’m bringing in Adam Treloar for the almost maxed out Bailey Banfield and then Finlayson will go to either Seedsman or Tom Cole.

I’m still undecided as to the move I want to make with this. I should have an easy game in my cash league so it may very well be Tom Cole coming in who has been superb for the Eagles in the previous two weeks.

My Team

Def: Laird, Yeo, Hibberd, Bonner, Murray, Doedee (Finlayson, Naughtington)

Mid: Mitchell, Coniglio, Crouch, Merrett, Neale, Zorko, Kelly, Coffield (Brayshaw, Banfield, Holman)

Ruck: Gawn, Nankervis (Cameron)

FWD: Gray, Heeney, Billings, Christenson, Fritsch, Guilfi (English, Waterman)
_____________________________________________________________________

I'm looking at either of Bonner/Finlayson to Cole but then not sure where to go from there.

Do i get rid of a "premo" that is bleeding cash in Zorko or back him in as i have held him this long and upgrade a Coffield/Holman/English type?

Edit:
Bonner -> Cole
Holman -> Seedsman (DEF via Finlayson to mid)

Going a tad early but
Richards to Cole
Holman to Macrae

Holding Walters to hopefully downgrade to Spargo to fund Gibbs/MCrouch next week

Anyone got a view on the whether any of these fallen premiums is the best buy low value this week.

The Bont at $611K, Lachie Whitfield at $584K or Josh P. Kennedy at $561K. All of these Mids have had a lot of sub 100s this season and a few stinkers as well but all put up respectable numbers this past weekend. Whitfield got DPP eligibility in DEF over on the AFL Fant platform, wish Real DT would follow suit then I'd sub him into mt backline in a heartbeat. Kennedy seems to struggle with a hard tag over the last few weeks, so I'm leaning towards the Bont having the most upside from here. Thoughts anyone?

Still going to go on ahead with my planned upgrades this week despite Walters

Seedsman and Gray ?
or
Simpson and McLean/Westhoff ?

About 3k short of Simpson and Gray, so could potentially wait 2 weeks for Simpson who has a 21k price fall on the cards.
Is Seedsman the real deal as a potential Top 6 backman ?

If you don't have Zerrett then jump on him.

Wait a week or two more and grab Gibbs as his 65 + 100 will force him to plummet

Wouldn't go anywhere near them guys you mentioned

Look for value in your forwards or defence.

Midfielders are generally rubbish this year save for a handful like Titchell, Macrae and Coniglio, just grab the best available even if you have to pay 750k for them.

I wouldn't pay 800k for anyone though

Option 2

Seedsman and Savage can GAGF

Will laugh at you all when you're all burnt :devil:;)

Shannon Hurn is going alright too though

I'd much rather back him in than those other two injury prone frauds

He's been a premium in Supercoach before, even though he regularly only puts up 70 averages in DT.

If the Eagles keep this current system then he potentially goes 90+ finally

DEF: Laird, Simpson, Savage, Murray, Doedee, Finlayson (Richards, Murphy)
MID: T.Mitchell, Macrae, Treloar, Fyfe, Coniglio, Parker, Kelly, Holman (Banfield, Garlett, Barry)
RUC: Gawn, Martin (English)
FWD: Gray, Heeney, McLean, Smith, Hogan, Guelfi (Fritsch, Giles-Langdon)

Wanting Z.Merrett for Holman but fall short without moving on English, it's either him or wait a week for M.Crouch who I will be able to afford after another price drop. Will depend if English gets rested anytime soon.

English/Holman to Olango/Z.Merrett will allow funds for Banfield/Murray to Spargo/Hurley (or Yeo) next week.

How many trades you burning through so far?

Looks like you've jumped on a few who are going ok

22 before this week. Jumped off Z.Merrett, Billings, Hibberd pretty quickly. Then the Ryan injury and already upgraded Bonner. Looking to crack top 20 this week so want points on field now hence looking at Zerrett this week, Crouch will save a fair amount of coin next week though - need to find the trade off.

Down to 20 this week, 5 more spots to upgrade which will require 10 trades given how well these back rookies are making leaving 10 more for injury/luxury trades is the plan.

Nice one

Gotta hope no injuries then

I'd go opposite of Pups and go Option 1. Gray is better than McLean/Westoff, and looks to be a top2 Fwd. Seedsman will average about that the same as Simpson, but without the crap 60pt games.

Agree with danger.

Only issue I have with gray (I have him) is that he handballs too much.

But so far so good.
