Ebert out was always going to mean a senior player had to play forward. I changed my trades to bring in Dunkley instead of Hoff when I thought more about it.
You're absolutely killing your trade ins at least even though your midpricers hurt you the first few weeks

I had no chance against your PODs the other week

Dunkley over Westhoff a masterstroke this week

Yeah hopefully that was the case with Ebert, but surely why didn't Rockliff play down there instead? Ebert and Rockliff are similar body types being stocky medium sized mids, Westhoff is a skinny mobile tall.

It's Hinkley. Who would know.

I thought my mid price picks were great and were working out well until they got injured. Two years in a row now I've been burnt by performing mid pricers getting injured. Annoying.

Why do these two idiots (no names needed) continue to make stupid comments/predictions before each game, at 1/4 time, at half time yet after their predictions turn out to be the opposite of what they said, there is no “I got that wrong” or similar. Just more of the same for the next match.
There must be something dramatically wrong with them and/or their life.

10-15 more minutes or so before these teams drop and puts us out of our misery

I've probably been guilty of it too, yet I've tried to hold back until say midway through the third quarter

Got lucky on Witherden having a big last quarter, but Westhoff and Newnes just ruined the weekend (similarly to Cogs and Brayshaw last week)

I'd probably cut it here mate

Maybe they're more pessimistic than others, who knows, no need though on playing the man here

Breakeven of 25. If he hits his predicted score of 87 goes up 35k and a breakeven of 31 next week.
Yeah I was very skeptical moving him on early for this reason

I guess he playing is the best result for my side for next weeks trades though

If there's no rookies around then I could maybe squeeze a double upgrade in if I trade say Constable/Drew to a Dunkley + premo defender

My loophole for this weekend is probably stuffed though now, lol, what a giant **** up this Westhoff trade/Danger contingency plan was, probably will cost me 150-200 points not going Treloar when all said and done...

Basically now

Captain Coniglio (who knows what he throws up), field Constable, bench Ross

Loophole Zerrett through Scott, take Hayes' 64, bench both Constable and Ross. Ross will be Cogs' backup if he's a late out

Amazing result...just needs to score a 70...hopefully Ablett gets a rest next week so he stays in. Atkins and miers could also be due for a rest. Just need 2-3 more weeks of constable and he will be ripe to upgrade to a top 6

Zerrett 272 + Hayes 64 = 336

If Constable scores 86 which is his average, do we think Cogs goes 125+? This would also be 336+

Maybe should just take Zerrett looking at it like this :(

Not going to pull the trigger for another 20 minutes though, still think Geelong might play funny buggers with Danger/Gazza

Miers looks so fresh.
Playing real high hf and pushing into the mids.
Doesn't look like wanting a rest.

Constable

Tiges playing Freo over there, Fyfe and Mundy should bully them. Ross probably scores 70 odd

Constable could go anything really, imo he has 110-120s in him

Yeah I am going to run the risk and play Constable over Ross. Had Gibbons 76 and was going to take that and leave Constable onfield but now hes playing you would think he is fired up to stay in the team so could go 100. Anyway just him playing and making more $$ is a bonus so glad I held hes been traded pretty heavily so be good if he can hold his spot for a few more weeks and get to his bye. He can score well as we have seen see how he goes today

Cogs isn't scoring 125+ with a broken hand.
If you have Zerrett VC surely you have to take it.

Take Zerrett as C everyday! Cogs hasn't looked like himself for a few weeks now, just cannot risk another disaster score as C.
