I've had a stinker too. 2070 all done. thank God I switched Ross out for Constable and Hayes out for Lockhart last minute or it woulda been absolutely tragic. Cringing at the thought of having to hold Coniglio, Heeney & Brayshaw. Desperately need Whitfield back next week. My team seems like it's a mess now

Ross injured too, done an ankle apparently

Lololololololololololololololol

:triumph:

Would be great to still have Gibbons on the pine...

Who did you ditch Gibbons to?

My team stinks

So many players who are playing with injury, out of position or have poor roles/poor form

The only thing I have going is cash generation, only Miers who I missed out on, but probably had everyone else needed for the long haul

So many holes to plug come the byes though...
My team is a bigger joke. Sloane is already my best performing mid and I had no serious plans to even bring him in, was a last min decision to save face in eliminator. He is my only mid averaging 110 and most others have Cripps/Trel/Zerrett/Gaff. I'll have to settle for a bottomed out Macrae because I just have no cash every week.

2069 Cost myself massively traded clark kept scrimma... played ross instead of stack or constable and now im out of the eliminator

2177 all done. Pretty happy considering Brayshaw, M. Crouch, Neale, Taranto and Cogs made up a pretty poor midfield, plus Witts and Lloyd let me down. Is Miers a premium now? 82, 91, 93, 94 the past four weeks. Premium forward type scoring and amazing consistency for someone who's played 8 games.

2005. Ross, Hoff, Answerth, Newnes, Worpel, Lloyd, Cogs, and Brayshaw all killing me. Especially with Constable, Clark, and Gibbons on the bench

Being overseas with a completely different time zone really stuffed me up this week. Can't do captain or other loopholes unless they are different days cause most matches are played during the night. I would have put Constable on field had I realised he was playing, but I cop Ross's 11 instead. Lost my cash league by 21.

Edit: ranted on too much. Sorry :straining:

Yet another Dream Team Veteran who doesn't leave Constable on field knowing he's thereabouts for selection and is an amazing scorer (and Geelong have a lot of injury worries) and setting an E on a lesser player just in case. And then has the gall to whinge about it.

What goes through people's heads? I'll put this second year rookie on the bench who scores amazingly well and has been mostly in and a little out of the team, and dominates the VFL and Geelong have a heap of injuries and he's always pretty close to playing when not named and it's been very widely publicized that Geelong have injuries and are susceptible to the late inclusion or two as we all are acutely aware of.

Nah, I'll just ignore all that and field some other spud instead, seems like the best idea because I'd rather come to Bigfooty to complain than improve my team

This is in response to everyone complaining about screwing up with Charlie this round. Only got yourselves to blame
When we are overseas with very limited internet access, we do not have all the information you are going on about. I get the opportunity to see the teams about 10 hours after they have been announced and make my team selection thereafter. The Friday night match and all night matches start around 3am my time so I have no idea of any late changes. I don’t agree that I should have selected constable on field as I was confident he would not play. I had no internet at the time of the Geelong game so didn’t know he was a late inclusion. If any other mid was a late out I would have had a donut.
But thanks for your advice anyway.

Please don't be disappointed you didn't have the best people on the park because you weren't able to due to being away. You aren't allowed. 😂😂😂

Taking the VC of Grundy at the last minute to put it on Lloyd only foreshadowed what was still to come. The nightmare ends on a Monday morning when you check the damage and you've got the C on Matt Crouch, Ross' 11 on-field with 2x nineties on the mid bench. While Balta, the spudiest F8 ever has outscored 3 of your starting forwards and you've plummeted from a hard earned 321st ranking to 905th overall. Quite deflating when you know that those 180 points missed due to VC and M8 choices would have meant another rise in the rankings. Sliding doors indeed.
