Round 8 trades

This timeframe is before round 10, The reason I'm wanting to do as much as I can before round 10 is because I have money riding on the dreamteam round as it's against my cousin.

So, Within the next 3 weeks, Plans would be to trade premo in now for wines "Watson/Mitchell" then next week make some cash by downgrading rookies "I'll take low scores that week if it means a 1w injury / suspension" and then just before round 10 bringing in stevie J for macaffer or Mayes...

So what do you think now ?

P.S. Thing about Mitchell is he doesn't seem to "destroy" teams, Even against gws / melbourne he only averages roughly 100 still.. Hmm!

Ibbotson is playing well, Burgoyne is decent too with a good run coming up I'm pretty sure?!

It's tough really, as Mayes will out score macaffer, but Mitchell I think, will out score everyone mentioned. However, if in doubt, bring in the best premium, so forget about priddis.

I'd go option 3, but you really can't go wrong with either 1 or 3. (Mitchell may get rested though)

Your guess is as good as mine, I know I would be resting

Franklin(maybe not franklin, he needs some pick up games) hodge birchall, Mitchell, and Gibson against melb in RNd 10
They are good enough to beat Melb without these players by 100 points.

But will it happen, who knows

Thanks guys! I was crunching numbers as much as I could and this is what I've come with -

Before round 10, In the trade time just before the start of the round I will either have -

Priddis + 642k FWD
Mitchell + 540k FWD

BEFORE ROUND 10..

Thoughts?

You guys think I should go Priddis + Stevie J right? Not Mitchel + 540k for a FWD?

Keep in mind I'll have - S Selwood, Cox, J Kennedy, Priddis... Is that too many WCE?

2 In the mid, 1 in the ruck, 1 in the FWD?


P.S. I could always get rid of Mayes instead of Macaffer and end up with 590k to get SJ?

So I could still go Mitchell + SJ to remove Mayes + Wines, Or I could go Priddis + SJ to remove Maccaffer + Wines???

It doesn't HAVE to be mitchell btw, I was thinking Watson would be a good pick instead, seems to have a much higher sealing compared to Mitchell

Do this. Watson+SJ. Mayes is getting to the pointy end of his BE and Macaffer JS is looking good.

Franklin v GWS in poor form high BE

so both looking like good short term options

If you are aiming to get both anyway then Martin this week Buddy next week due to BE's.

Otherwise it's honestly a coin flip

Go with whoever everyone else has, so if they score bad no fuss lol! I keep premiums to be my unique as less chance of backfire. Lucras could come out with a 30 odd! Never know.

Ended up going Heath to Vlaustin and Neade to Kennedy. Would have liked to have gone Neade to Kerridge, but I need the extra cash for upgrades in the next few weeks and Kennedy seems pretty safe in the Collingwood side for the moment.

Can't wait to go Stevenson to Thurlow, and Wines to Watson next week!

Was considering swapping Stevenson for Thurlow and then Wines to Watson, but I'm about 1 grand short. Might just attempt to do that trade next week when Thurlow has two games under the belt.

Alternatively I could trade Hartlett for Thurlow this week, upgrade wines, and have a bunch of cash left over...but I'd be running three rookies in the back-line with Goodes back in the squad.

This is a tough week in trading. Thoughts?
