Thanks for the advice. Yeah I need Hurley and Yeo but can't afford them this week and will need to wait for them to drop before I jump on.

Yeah my team is very similar to many. Lots of luck involved and not much difference between top 10 and top 1000.
Reckon it can just come down to simple things like rookie and captain lotto. Nail these two things and you're well placed, then it's all up to premiums performing.

I also have 17 of your starting 22, but am 14k and have hovered in the pack between 8-18k all season.

Not even sure a point of difference will emerge to get back into the top 10k until the byes come.

I've held Billings this long so there's no choice but to stick with him for now. Main reason is his RD 14 bye means he can help me through the first two bye rounds then I can cut him loose in round 14. Hopefully that will be the last piece of my team to fall into place.
:thumbsu: I'm of this opinion too.

Thinking Hogan or someone coming off their bye could be an option for him then (probably keeping Trac for M9-F7 because of his DPP if the points differential between Billings vs Trac is marginal at the time)

Already done Holman>Crouch. 1 trade left and basically 0 in the bank.
If Duman gets dropped i'd happily trade either one of the non playing rookies in the back.

Other than that any thoughts?

Titch should be at his lowest price for the season, not interested? Has the good bye.

Think i'd rather have Danger instead of Titch
One is averaging 126, has a breakeven of 98 and has 5 scores of 125+ this year already and is priced at just 587k.

The other is Dangerfield, averaging 111 with a breakeven of 168 at 619k.

Crouch is a bargain right now and will probably still be cheapish next week, but avoiding Titchell will put you behind a few.

I don’t think it’s worth trading Billings right now. Might hold til rd 14. And other underpriced premo other than Crouch and Oliver?

Selwood, Neale, Kennedy, Zorko ( :) ).

Finlayson > Spargo via Sicily DPP

Banfield > McLean via Gartlett DPP

I'm staring to climb back up the ranking after some poor rounds 3 - 5, just need to get the Premo's into my team.

Hopefully Keefe can manage a decent score next week for a rookie downgrade for Holman, upgrade Doedee to Hurley/Simpson/Yeo.

Not entirely sure what to do with Billings at this point, if Mason Wood ton's up next week I might do a side trade.

Ok these are the trades I am thinking of this week.

Only $6,200 in the kitty.

What's everyone think is the best option?

1. English > Ronke and Holman > Spargo.

2. English > Spargo and Finlayson > Yeo.

3. Holman > Spargo and Murray > Ronke via Sicily.

4. English > Spargo and Finlayson > M.Crouch via Coffield (Naughton onto the ground)

Here is how my team stands.

Thoughts?

2nd one looks great I think.

Thinking of going Bonner to Angus Brayshaw in the backline. I had Brayshaw pre-season in the backline, but he wasn't picked early on. He's about the same price, and is predominately a midfielder. And Christensen to Spargo. Was a few bob short of getting McLean in.

Going to keep Billings. Put him on the bench if needs be. He may well get dropped this week. Hard to believe really. And hope Mirra and Guelfi play again soon.

Something tells me Wonky Ronke is going to be David Mirra Mk II turfed after his first price rise.

Richards > Spargo
English > McInerney

Following week..

Murray > Keefe
ZGL/Fritsch > Crouch

Opens up M/F and D/F swing
