Nic Nat suspension upheld. Boo. Guess I'll have to go without Zork this week. Hopefully Savage is out so it's a forced trade and I don't change my mind

I'm looking at a double upgrade this week.
Christensen or Billings to make way. Christensen has served his purpose and while Billings has been a spud, if he decides to come good then at least we know what he is capable of.

In comes McLean, and M.Crouch in the mids replacing Luke Shuey. Was tempted to have a flutter on Redden as I think with Shuey and Sheed out his role has changed to full time midfield follower, rather than playing off a wing. But Crouch is too good to refuse and his bye week suits my team structure.

Crouch's BE is 120+ still im pretty sure.
You could always grab redden this week and crouch next week?
Just a thought.

True and did consider this, but at the end of the day this game is primarily about getting points, not $$.
The sooner you can upgrade to bring in your premium point winners, the better.

I have confidence that Crouch will score well this week against Port. I'd rather bring him in even if his price stabilises, so that I can bank those points, rather than delay it further.

With the byes coming up, my trades between now and then are focused on preparing my team, so don't want to be burning through too many willy-nilly.

That's my logic, at least.

The $64,000 question is Redden or Zorko? Was leaning towards Redden earlier in the week but now thinking stuff it, Zorko has more upside.

I’m going Zorks. Maybe it’s anti-WC bias but he has surely gotten most of his crap out of the way, and will have another 170+ or two in him.
Want him this week.

If redden scores against GWS without Nic Nat then sure he has arrived. But I think he’ll struggle then Shuey will be back soon.

Anyone else think it is too early to bring in Crouch? Averaged 98 (not premium territory) the past two weeks against two bottom sides at home, high BE, just come back from injury... I think I'll wait 2-3 weeks. Will probably let his price rise a touch before jumping on him.

Worth waiting a week or two. Not sure about those hammies

**** the BE game this week...

My trades were,
Finlayson (D6) -> Eagles (D8)
Banfield (M8) -> Dangerfield (M6)

Now I can leave this for a while and concentrate on my forward line.

Yeah I'm not sure what he will do against PA, but I think he will be huge against the Bulldogs and would be keen to bring him in for that.

Options this week to take out for Ronke/Mutch/Spargo/Guelfi - TBD

If I take out English (for Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo)
D6: Finlayson
F5: Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo, F6: Waterman/Crowden

If I take out Finlayson (for Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo)
D6: Coffield
F5: Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo, F6: English/Waterman/Crowden

If I take out Holman (for Ronke)
D6: Finlayson
F5: Ronke, F6: English/Waterman/Crowden

If I take out Holman (for Spargo/Mutch - to the bench)
D6: Finlayson
F5 and F6: English/Waterman/Crowden (2 of them)

If I take out Coffield (for Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo)
D6: Finlayson
F5: Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo, F6: English/Waterman/Crowden

So in summary:
Is there much difference between Coffield (v Freo) and Finlayson (v WC)? My feeling is probably not.

Is there much difference between English/Waterman/Crowden and Ronke/Guelfi/Spargo - probably a little, hence avoiding the option to drop Holman for a new bench mid rookie (Spargo/Mutch).

Is there much difference in price rises for: Coffield, Holman, Finlayson, English. My feeling is that they all have similar price rises, but Coff/Finlay/English at least have DPP, and they all have different byes. I'll be dumping Holman in 2 weeks anyway, so maybe just drop him this week? However because he is cheaper it means I can only get Ronke, when I would probably prefer Guelfi or Spargo (DPP).

Rookie roulette question... Who's likely to score more this week out of Doedee (vs Port) and Finlayson (vs Eagles)?

Was all set to trade Finlayson but am starting to think he might end up playing in a reasonably free-flowing game, and hence he can rack up a few +6s in the back half. Doedee in the pressure of a showdown has me a little concerned even though he's mostly been terrific so far.

One of them is being upgraded to Redden/Zorko (don't even get me started on that dilemma) via DPP.

Should both go low 70s this week.
But Doedee has more $$ to earn so am considering Finlayson out, not Doedee for now.

I have traded Finlayson out, so guaranteed to go big this week....

I think NN out is the kick I need to move him on. Thanks for the 100K.

NN -> Stef
English -> Keefee (unless a solid 170Ker is named)

Booooring! (R13 is gonna be fun :/)

Looking at this haven't Dusty and Zerrett fallen from grace.
Never ever would of thought they'd be an M7 and M8.
