Round 8 Trades

I think Bird has pretty much peaked (B/E should be around 20 odd), might make another 10k or so but Browne is prime and would be very hard to pass on. Bird's 35 will be around for a few weeks and the way he played today, it wouldn't surprise me if he was dropped for a few games. I would think Bird ---> Browne is a perfect trade this week.
Good point. Its either get Browne this week or wait a couple more weeks for Cotchin. But that would probably mean I'll miss out on my target backline upgrade.

Maybe:
Bird -> Browne
Pfeiffer -> Burgoyne

Can't see any problems with those trades :thumbsu:

Though i think Milburn is probably a better option than Burgoyne, they will roughly average the same but Milburn is 30-40k cheaper, he plays for Geelong and won't frustrate you every second week. Just a thought.

Also just to add i chose Milburn over Burgoyne last week and that was pretty much my reasoning behind it.

Awesome, have enough for a straight swap, Bird ---> Swan with 2k left.

If Geary doesn't play in Round 8:
Bird ---> Swan with 2k left
Geary ---> Browne with 46k left

This would mean i would still have Jack on the bench with Browne. Midfield for Round 8 would be Priddis, Cross, Swan, Stevens, Gibbs and Palmer

or

If Geary does play in Round 8:
Jack ---> Corey with 6k left
Bird ---> Browne with 98 left

then week after
Gibbs ---> Swan

This would mean i would have Geary and Browne on the bench. Midfield for Round 9 would be Priddis, Cross, Swan, Corey, Stevens and Palmer

Hey guys
I need to upgrade Ellis i'm thinking either,
Joel Macdonald or Nathan Bock
Who would you choose, is there anyone else?
Thanks

Have 3 major liabilities in Jones, Vince and Dyson. I'm not sure who i should attend to first.

Possible options are:

Bird -> Browne
Jones -> Swan

Bird -> Browne
Vince-> BJ

Pretty much stuck with Dyson because I don't have enough cash for a decent upgrade.

Probably the Vince ---> BJ one first, simply Jones B/E is high (90-100), Swan's is high (90-100). Whereas Vince's (85-90) is high but Johnson's is very low (30-40).

As i said, i think the second one would be better this week but i think you have to get rid of Jones the week after, if you can't then i'd advise the first trade option.

Cheers, definitely seems the way to go, will have to look into the jones trade because once that 118 is gone, look out :eek:

hate that guy

Was planning on doing Hill for rookie (Valenti??) then Houli to Corey. But Houli played a ripped on the wkend and I have injury worries in defence. So I'll probably end up doing Symes to H.Shaw. All depends on whether J.Brown can get himself fit!

Was going to do Tredrea --> Chapman at the start of this round but because of Tredrea's injury I don't have the money (the bastard needed to make 2k more) so I'm planning ATM

Griffen and his huge B/E---> Coughlan or Cotchin if either come in, if not Steven Browne
Tredrea ---> Pav

Then next week Aker ---> Chapman.

Thinking t. Johnstone -> r. harvey .... (should of got him last week)

maybe symes / mattner -> milburn

all depends on how bad riewoldt and TJs injury are

What do people think of the follwing trades:

Out - Matty Stokes, In - Brad Johnson... make me $32K, and enable me to then trade..

Out - N. Jones, In - Joel Corey.

Not so sure whether it's a waste of a trade to get rid of Stokes... he's had two big 100's and is averaging around 75 - 80 I think, but he's also a couple of 50 - 60's (and he's on report this week)... Johnson is clearly a bracket above him, but I may be better off keeping Stokes and having him as my 6th or 7th forward come the end of the season. I'd still have to upgrade Rioli and Gamble... BUT I HAVE TO GET RID OF JONES!!!

thoughts on these trades?

Bartram-----> S.Browne...or another cheap gun

Vince-----BJ, or N.G.Brown or Rob Murphy

or

Bartram----> S.browne etc etc

Gram------> P.Burgoyne, Milburn etc

Backline

Shaw
Bock
Cornes (when he returns)
Newman
Goddard
Osbourne
P. Burgoyne

or is now the time to get onto BJ???

Considering trading Bradshaw (back) out as I think he's peaked, but not sure who for... probably Goddard/Milburn/King (already PBurg, Chad, Shaw, Symes, BJones, Taylor).

Still another week/few week for main cash cows (Rioli, Gamble, Taylor, Palmer, Houli) to be upgraded/downgraded - might downgrade Rioli (not sure who for) to prepare for some upgrades next round.

Time to get things fixed. Already got King and Goddard in this week, intend to have both BJ and Joel Corey (hopefully doesn't go up too much) in the next fortnight:

OUT: Hill, Bird
IN: BJ, Browne

then the next week,

OUT: Pfeiffer, Griffen
IN: rookie, Corey

Will leave me with 8 trades but a pretty solid team - only concern is injuries to Chornes, Symes, Reiwoldt and Brown. :( Should be able to cover both backmen, but if Brown doesn't play, will probably be a man down in defence. Hopefully Roo misses 3-4, as opposed to 8.

Does anyone have an opinion on the above?

Good trades....:thumbsu:

Now what about mine?

I need to get rid of Mattner and Ellis so i am thinking of doing this....

Gamble (on bench)------> 83 grander or Valenti (if named)
Ellis--------> Milburn

Then week after i will do...

Mattner/Waters-------> Anyone.

Will leave me with 8 trades but my team will be finished as far as fixing things up goes and i will leave the remaining trades for injuries/suspensions.
