Daicos a strong chance to get max brownlow votes again, as you just notice him all the time.

A great team game.

Mitchell and JDg huge in the middle
Sidey, WHE and Daicos spread and link so well

Jamie and Bobby back in form up forward
Murphy and IQ never lose contests down back

Seeing Crisp and JDG chase a GWS player down with :30s to go in the 3rd quarter when we were 40 points ahead, told me everything I need to know about this Collingwood side. They seemed oblivious to how far ahead they were, and how in control the game was.

The team is very driven and value playing for the moments. It's not just a cliche. They celebrate the little things just as much as they celebrate the fancy goals.

Not taking this for granted. Love barracking for them.

They did celebrate Bobby's fancy goal.

Yes it's far more than a culture or a lifestyle - don't know how to describe it but I love it.

Nice to not have a mail biter. Glad to see that we took advantage of the large margin and gave our senior players a considerable rest in the last.

Thought Adams was great today too, he’s become a lesser light and flies under the radar a bit now, but having blokes like him and Crisp as second string midfielders makes us bat incredibly deep.
Adams is also ridiculously proactive on the offensive side of stoppages, especially centre bounces. It always irked me how often a free man would float off our forward 50 and provide an easy outlet out the back when the opposition win stoppages - Adams is so aggressive and actively shuts this down and helps us win stoppages that he starts outside of.

Getting massive bang for buck on his output now but without him having to be a first string midfielder.
20 touches, 6 tackles, 4 clearances, 10 score involvements and went at 80%. Unfortunate that his shot hit the post, if he can keep hitting the scoreboard in combination with everything else then it’s a massive gain for us overall with Mitchell taking his bulk midfield time but Adams diversifying himself.
Totally agree with this. Really noticed it a few times today his tackling pressure coming hard out of 50 from centre bounce. He’s been really handy as an in and under pressure half forward this year.

Six months ago we were all wondering how he and Mitchell would fit in the same team. It’s probably extended Adams career rather than shortening it.

A very pleasant Sunday afternoon/evening. Nice % booster to go with it and a proper four quarter performance.

Mason Cox was brilliant. Arguably his best performance since the 2018 Prelim.

Time to go in for the kill against Carlton next weekend.
Coxzilla will be lathering up, the occasion won’t be lost on him. He loves the big stage.

Cox was best.
Daylight.
JDG
Daylight

That was just one of the most dominant big man games I’ve seen in some years by a pies player.

When he floats back and across the front of a pack as a ruckman, he’s almost unstoppable.
It’s such a weapon.

I’ve always wondered why he was considered second ruck?!
For mine, his tap work is great and he provides us a cheap bail out mark when we have nothing else.
When he’s not leading at the ball (with someone hanging off him), he’s far more effective.

The one-two that Cameron and he will provide will be very effective for us in the back half of the year.

We still have a few more gears.

Fantastic win.Our most complete performance since our round two win over Port Adelaide. What a difference it makes to have a ruckman taking marks all over the ground.Cox’s performance was stunning, one of his very best.

We’re in a great spot right now. We’re getting some talls back in the next few weeks,we’ve had a very tough draw, winning without most of our talls, and we’re still yet to play the three worst sides in the competition.

I don’t want to jinx us by being too optimistic, but things are really looking good.😀

Was a good old fashioned 10 goal thumping, like the old days at Viccy Park against an interstater. Well, maybe not quite the same but it felt good to belt an opposition. To relax on Mother's day with a few beers and a bottle of red, kick back and enjoy the footy. No stress, just pure fun. More of that please.

One of my favourite plays was probably Ginnivan goal, Cox won it in the middle to Adams, Mitchell, Daicos and Pendlebury to hit up Ginnivan. That is an awesome midfield group and the addition of Mitchell has been huge to taking the weight off Adams and JDG.

We are a game clear of Melb and they’ve played eagles, north, hawks, and Gold Coast.

Brisbane have been the second best team so far this year, but the Dees will be right there. Not their fault they have had an easy run. Does reek a little that they play North and Hawthorn twice.
