Thought this could be done weekly just like the AFL site does, but I like to think we can do better.

What's everyones team of the week? I'll kick it off with mine.

Bench full of mids? Other than that good effort.

Pretty good. Sam Mitchell coming off a HBF is pretty suss though. I'd also have Minson as the ruckman, but my bias may be more than yours . He was dominant though.

Probably agree. Mumford dominated up front and was OK in the ruck, but the lack of pre-season training affected his running and he didn't finish as strongly as others.

Missing Kieran Jack though, best on ground in his game and would have been one of the best on ballers for the round. Chapman was good but forward pocket? He played a follower role today. Take off Bryce Gibbs as well.

I think I didn't want to appear too bias, if it was my team I could put 10+ dogs in there .

From a Collingwood perspective, most Collingwood supporters had Nathan Brown or Alan Toovey in their best three. Toovey's a fair enough omission given his opponent kicked four goals, but Nate was brilliant for us.

Good lineup though, bench full of mids aside. Bit unlucky for Kieran Jack and JPK, as well as possibly Sidebottom. If you can fit Pendles on the wing, can probably put Jack on the other, IMO.

Carlisle played on better opposition and was better than Thompson, as was Lonergan, however Brown completely smashed Petrie

If you want to have a Freo forward in there, I'd have Walters ahead of Mayne. That coach who supposedly doesn't develop players has done wonders with him.

Nathan Brown was awesome and young Roughead was good too for the Bulldogs. I'd have Sidebottom over Deledio as he played 4 quarters.

Lower is another who you could consider given his job on Rich.

 

[Wylin Dreams]

Mundy if I'm putting forward somebody from Freo - hard to split him and Barlow. Tough to fit into that team if you're a mid though.

Nathan Brown and Jordan Roughead the two standout KPDs this week imo.

Yeah, Walters for Mayne. Minson was pretty good in ruck for the dogs.

Toss up between the two for mine.

Cotchin was the bloke doing most of the damage in the clearances for you blokes. He was the difference.

Then again Gibbs with 2 goals and 34 disposals (14 contested) was no slouch in almost dragging us across the line.
