Brent Reilly an emergency? Can i have some that hard shit that your on.
He would b one of the 1st picked every week.

quesion to freo supporters..

palmer . foster. obrian. which is likely to play the most amount of games in 08?

And i think that connors should be in our starting 22

Tough call really, will have to see how they go in the pre-season.

O'Brien had a pretty good debut (15 disposals, 5 marks, 2 tackles and a broken nose IIRC) but his form in the WAFL was ordinary up until then(selected because we had about 176 players suspended by the club that week). So unless he has an amazing pre-season, and/or dominates in the NAB Cup I still think there are a few senior players in front of him.

Foster would be more than likely to start in rnd 1. Assuming he can continue improving on the form he showed late last season he is a good chance to play every game next season. Very team orientated, doesn't mind doing the 1%ers so if he is dropped it won't be for a lack of effort.

Palmer is an interesting one, i haven't really seen enough of him to comment. By all accounts he could play next season. Hopefully he will displace some of the older guys and be getting a regular game by late in the year.

LRT/Kosi..........Barry/G-Train.....Richards/Milne
Mattner/Schnieder...CBolton/Reiwoldt...Kennelly/Harvey
Fosdike/Montagna.....Kirk/Hayes......JBolton/Gram
L.Fisher/Davis......Maguire/OKeefe...Gilbert/Buchanan
S.Fisher/Oloughlin....Max/Hall....Blake(tag goodes)/Grundy(tag hayes)

Foll: Jolly/King, Goodes/Ball, Malceski/Dal Santo

Int: Everitt/M.Gardiner, Ablett/Fiora, McVeigh/X.Clarke, Bird/R.Clarke

Emerg: White/Birss, Barlow/Armitage, Playfair/c.Jones

Will be a cracker of a game to say the least. After looking at the swans side they look very good especially with Mattner however is everitt and Oloughlin past it?? and Hall is he 100%??

aprt from those questions theyll be a very good side.

Saints question... can they keep a side on the park for five F*&^%$ minutes?

At Telstra Dome Saints by 19 points but im biased. At Sydney it would be reversed.

Dont care what other people are saying i believe melbourne will make the 8 next year.

the 8?? with that backline?? youll get 22 goals kicked against you every week. Newton?? first year CHF?? id be going for the draft pick if i was you.... leave the 8 to the good teams like us stkilda :p

Round 1:

B: Brown Gilham Guerra
HB: Birchall Croad Jacobs
C: Bateman Mitchell Clarke
HF: Boyle Franklin Dew
F: Williams Roughead Rioli

R: Campbell Sewell Ladson

I: McGlynn, Tuck, Taylor, Young

Rioili probably wont be in, but id put him in. Midfeild looks worrying without the big 3 but Mitchell and Sewell are more than capable of cutting oppositions apart..

Hawks by 25..

Wolfman, i would have Ellis and Thorp in that 22. You've also got Dowler, Muston, and Bailey pushing hard. We've got a lot of quality depth now.

And of course Junior Boy will play rd 1!...

Sydney Swans:

Something like this:

B: L Barry, C Bolton, T Richards
HB: M Mattner, L. Roberts-Thompson, T Kennelly
C: N Fosdike, B Kirk, N Malceski
HF: R O'Keefe, B Hall, E Barlow
F: N Davis, M O'Loughlin, A Buchanan
R: D Jolly, A Goodes, J. Bolton

INT: T Schmidt, B Matthews, P Everitt, L Ablett
EMG: J McVeigh, H Playfair, L Brennan, J. Crouch

FRINGE: M Laidlaw, J. Moore, K. Jack, L Vogels, H. Grundy, C Bird?, D O'Keefe?

Regular OUTS: Bevan, McVeigh, Crouch
Regular INS: Schmidt, Barlow, Mattner,

Notes:
* Mattner, Kennelly and Malceski could all interchange spots, but I would really love to see Malceski play regularly in the midfield.

*Barlow probably doesn't deserve a start but as we are short on true HFF types I stuck him there as a tall mid that can take a grab and make things happen.

* C. Bolton is the Swans best defender and as such should take the best forward every game from the start.

* Schmidt and Barlow are Sydneys two most promising youngsters along with Malceski who is already a regular. I have picked these two, hopefully to be regulars, giving them some experience

The team thats going to smash the blues.....

FB: King Thursfield McGuane
HB: Bowden Polak McMahon
C: Tambling Foley Newman
HF: Pettifer Richardson Cotchin
FF: Brown Riewoldt Edwards
R: Simmonds Coughlan Deledio
INT: Pattison Johnson Tuck Raines

EMER: Jackson Polo Connors Morton

FB: S. Fisher Hudghton Gilbert
HB: Gram Maguire Goddard
C: Fiora Ball Montagna
HF: Schneider Riewoldt X. Clarke
FF: Koschitzke Gehrig Milne

R: King Hayes Dal Santo

I: Harvey Gardiner Blake Armitage

Emg: R. Clarke Gwilt Birss

Pretty good on paper, with Baker to come into it once he's served his bollocks suspension. Sadly I don't think we'll see Attard on the park next year.

Unless Jones's kicking improves drastically over the summer I really hope not to see him on the park next year.

Fixed. Not convinced on Riewoldt. Tambling is Tambling. Jackson and Polo unlucky.

I don't think this side is that bad at all, plenty of run from defence with Bowden, McMahon and King driving the ball forward. Newman should have a better year and Foleys a star. Forwardlines the real worry, they better be getting some help from the on-ballers if they are going to win games...but we all know what Richo and Brown are like when they turn it on.

Anyway i'm tipping them to win 6 -7 games.

Cheers.
